Hiya.

71 f at midday. Very nice, yesterday was roughly the same but we had sunshine all day and it felt like a summer day. A summer day in England not a summer day in Texas lol. 

That's 21c , Carly 15c which is 59 f is considered cool here not freezing cold.. I need a winter coat cold. I suspect if you flew over here you would find that very cold indeed after being used to Texas temperature. 

My new sofa is coming Saturday! Yippee finally, been waiting so long...

We have a skip (dumpster) coming on Saturday too, hopefully they don't turn up at the same time! We thought we'd get the sofa outside tomorrow and make do with garden chairs for a couple of days. The old sofa needs to be out the way and I don't want to get up at silly o clock in the morning to move the sofa outside just in case the new one turns up at that time. 

This morning I've had the sofa out and I've hoovered all underneath and all at the back so that when the new sofa goes in it's nice and clean. I'm also washing and using fabric conditioner on my blankets to make them smell nice.

Joanne I wish Doug was like Mario when sick. I do my best to disinfect everything he touches when he's got a cold because he's not very good like your Mario. He'll just cough and sneeze everywhere. I would love to see the table top when you finish. When you spoke about your mum cutting her hair it reminded me of when my mum used nail polish on her face. I had to ring the pharmacy to ask whether it was ok to use nail polish remover on her face, I'm glad she never got hold of scissors! 

Carly, lol 83 f is lovely, how funny it is the temperature we are used to in our environment. Doug is still currently working, he got told ages ago, they haven't confirmed any dates yet as to when he will lose his job. When your uncle was on his death bed and he told another priest he wanted to donate his share of his family house, is that priest still alive? 

Leo I've completely missed what has been going on with you, I hope you are still standing and plodding on.
