Hello
Slightly cooler today but still very warm, yesterday was scorching.
Joanne yes I'm familiar with Barnsley although I've never been. Tell them York, Whitby and Scarborough are a must for a visit. Stay out of Manchester lol.
Carly Doug can't get out the bath now so always showers. I can but I only ever bath in the winter on odd occasions when I just want to warm my bones. Perhaps now you need to decide no more baths.
Leo wondering how you are.
We plan on getting yet another dumpster in a few weeks because we have all that concrete from the shed floor to get rid of, so we are thinking what else can we get rid of too? I've been going through the wood shed this morning, and we've also been gradually going through the other shed with all the tools. When you live in a family situation like we did, dad had his tools and Doug had his, and even though we'd got rid of so much already, we thought we still had too much. I mean how many hammers does one need or how many spanners lol.
I'm just hankering for a simple life with so much less.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

Today I have PT, Mario has his eye appointment and then we will meet a few friends from out of town. One of our friends was a former football player and went to the Super Bowl four times!!! I've been friends with Claxton since eleven years old, going to school together.
Sandra, I'm with your idea of simpler life. We both only take showers, in fact, floating homes usually have only showers. Ours does have a jacuzzi room and we art removing to make a walk in robe. Good luck on removing junk!
Carly, what is going on at the ranch? Are there still interested buyers? Also, what has been decided about Mikes heart?
Leo, miss you.
We had to take Spencer with his service dog to the vet, she vomited and was dizzy. Turns out she was dehydrated and it was most likely due to the heat when out with Spencer. Also, Spencer is in a wheelchair so he also needs to be careful, It's easy to get dehydrated without being aware in this heat.
PEACE
I swear if it is not one thing it is another! Things just seem to be going from bad to worse. The new PCP wants an appointment for Mike with the pulmonary doctor. We do have that scheduled. She should know that.
From all the tests they did and as I mentioned the pneumonia is back. But from another test it seems they found 50% blockage in one of his heart arteries. They will send out more med's for that along with the antibiotics for the pneumonia. They are saying that it will not cure it but just keep it from getting worse. It seems that they will not do a stent to the heart unless it get's to 70% blockage.
Mike could not have chosen a worse time to get sick. He is dealing with so dang much at the ranch. With all the fences down and trying to free trucks stuck in the mud from the flood. Waiting on workers who never show up on time. Everyone is stretched so thin and everyone needing help from the flood.
I took pics and will try and send them. They may not be on DS because you all know why. lol I will figure it out one of these days.
Sandra, I so agree. Life would be so much simpler if we didn't have to much stuff! I struggle all the time thinking I should get rid of things and then I stop and think, what if my kids or grand's would like this? I am thinking that no one want's that many hand-me-downs. I have 3 houses to pack. Still working on Abbeville. Grrrr! I am still thinking why did mom give me all this from Abbeville well before she died so many years ago. And now know....she wanted to get rid of stuff so you just give it to someone. And that would be me.
I wish we all lived close enough to open my doors to everyone and just say: Please come and take whatever you want!!
Joanne, I hope that PT went well for you today. Who did your football player friend play for? What team? So interesting.
I am so sorry about Spencer's service dog. I hope she is doing ok now. Hugs to Spencer and his pup.
As usual I have gone on and on with my ranting. I would keep going but never knowing when even my computer say's enough already and shuts me down. lol
Wishing everyone a great rest of the week.
xoxo
