The plants are getting stressed due to the heat. Even when they get watered some leaves do get sun fried.
Sandra,How is your heat? Here we let lawns look like they are dried up but when the autumn cooler weather starts with showers it greens back up. Do you like figs? The easiest tree to grow that doesn't get diseased is a fig tree. I have one in the land garden that grows so fast, requires minimum care and the figs are so delishes.
Leo, how is your situation with and the antibiotics working? You have so much going on I do hope you are on the mend.
Carly, How did it all go today? I know you are nervous but I'm confidant the cardiologist and specialist will help Mike. How are you doing with your health?
Everyday it is a nightmare with calls about Mom, legal things, paperwork and I"m just exhausted. This has convinced both Janice and me to leave our family better prepared. We need to revisit the trust fund for the boys and grandkids.
There is a virus going around, not from the one infecting produce, causing diarrhea to the max. Mario and my sister both have had it, three days for my sister and so far three days for Mario. I'm disinfecting with 99% alcohol anything he touches, he is really excellent on scrubbin his hands but I'm OCD about certain things.

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

Another warm day here, it's clouded over, but still warm.
Yeah grass everywhere is just yellow and dry.
I love figs, I'll have to look that up. I wonder if the seeds in one would actually grow, if that's not a silly question..
Hopefully you don't get the virus because you are being so careful, I wouldn't trust Doug to wash his hands properly lol.
Carly I hope the appointment went well and we would love to know how he got on and what's been decided.
Leo , garden is flat unfortunately. College kids, how many kids do you have? I read either your journal or a post that you wanted a hysterectomy because you've been suffering for ages, I hope you get that.
But we never saw a doctor, just the tech for the Echo and the CT Calcium Scoring.
And here I am complaining that I put on makeup and no visit with the dr. But I will for sure complain about why I am getting the run around about filling the most needed Med. At my wit's end.
Hey, I have completely forgotten about my health....it is what it is and not that great. I stopped taking my BP because it was scaring me. I have told no one that the top number was well over 170.
Joanne, I hope that things get settled soon. It for sure seems like a nightmare with so many calls. I can see how you would be exhausted. That is alot to deal with.
I have been hearing and watching on TV about that virus. So sorry Mario and your sister both have it. What do you think that they ate that gave them the virus?
Sandra, I often wonder what you call a warm day. :-)
I go behind Mike with a sanitizer wipe all day. It pisses him off but really don't care.
Leo, hope all is well with you. I would also love to know your reply to Sandra's questions. Curious as well.
Sending much love and hugs to all my dear friends.
