Am I getting up earlier than the rest of you or what? It's 9:30 here, I'm ready for work and having a coffee and bagel for breakfast. Working a double shift the next two days. It's so hard on me but I need the money.
If I can get my new cargo carrier assembled this Saturday we are going to go camping. But it's a lot of assembly :(
There is so much drama at work it's unreal, I'm just sticking to myself and letting them all hash it out. It makes it hard to work in that environment though. What's crazy is that the GM doesn't even seem to care.
What's everyone up to today?

It's going to get hotter here with Thursday being the hottest. It's noon and 75f feels more like 80 or more.I've been cleaning up the deck in this morning and cleaning the windows outside. Then I cut up a pallet in half, I've decided to call it quits now because I went a bit light headed. Joanne, some drugs we take have an effect on us in the heat, I know a couple of mine do, maybe yours...

Boy, I agree with you. I hope the double shift goes quickly. I hope you get to go camping before it’s too cool.
I’ve been catching up on all that’s going on, but it’s not the same.
I’m already staying in more as the weather creeps down. It’s really cooling next week. I’m cleaning today and taking Claire thrift shopping tomorrow. I’m not buy bc I don’t want more to pack. Six months to go here. My scabs are finally off from my fall and I’m walking a little better with just a cane.
I will get my computer back in a week so I hope to come in more.
Hugs n hope
Serenity: It's a sigh of relief when you pop on to see you are okay. At least you are walking a little better, and for that, there is hope to completely recover.
Visiting Mom with Janice and explaining I need power of attorney, and I want Janice on it too, will let us make the decisions for you if you are unable to healthwise, took 2 hours. Mom finally understood at almost 97 that if she had another fall and her neck fracture caused complete paralysis, we needed to make sure her wishes were carried out. Mom is very proud and still has most of her brain working. Getting older is not easy.
I got caught in torrential rain without an umbrella and proper clothing when I arrived home last night. At least it was walking along the deck to home, not somewhere I would be freezing. Getting wet is a small price to pay for living on the river. From now on this season there will be an extra rain jacket and umbrella in the Jeep.
Sandra and Carly, hopefully you'll pop on.
PEACE
Dixie, what is going on with work? Share the drama. We love drama around here. lol
I hope you get the cargo assembled so you can go camping. Where is you camping destination?
Serenity, good to see you. After your 6 months left there where are you going? Are you still thinking of NY? Good to hear you are feeling better.
Dixie, that is a very trying time with you having to figure out poa but nice that Janice is involved. God bless your mom. Getting older is not easy and I am sure she is feeling it at 97. I hope I make it there.
I am so re-thinking my trip to LA for the omelette festival. I so love it when I go and I invited a friend who always wanted to go.
But I think that Mike's feeling are a bit hurt because I didn't take that road trip with him. It is soooo much apples and oranges. I just might cancel.
Love and hugs.
