Tuesday is here and it is going to be a terrific day for all of us. I will send sunshine and warmth to anyone who needs it. I have plenty to share.
I will be taking a bike ride over to the mailbox on the corner to mail a letter we should have mailed yesterday. It gives me incentive to get out and about.
My new meds should arrive in mail today. VA only mails out prescriptions so I am anxious to try.

I will certainly take some of that sunshine and warmth you are offering!! It's 40 degrees and rainy here.
I just wanted to stop by real quick and wish everyone a good day. I've got a lot going on at work right now and have been going home mentally exhausted every day. I really must take some time and get caught up here.
I do keep you all in my prayers even when I'm absent. :)

I think my allergies have made my chest tight and voice hoarse, but I am sticking to the mucinex, Sudafed and tea with honey. I really don't want an antibiotic the walk in clinics are quick to give. See how it goes first.
Gram, my husband gets his meds through the VA and somedays the mailbox is packed. I wonder what the mailman things, probably OLD VETERAN !, lol

the sun is out here and it's pretty mild which is good for the trek to the dr's office. that's my day. i'll pick up some things downtown on the way home. just getting my coffee, so i'm still waking up, but wishing all a lovely low pain day!

Magic darn allergies seem to be slamming around. I watched a spoof on the weather channel about how global warning has lifted pollen, etc thru the roof. Hope you get a handle on them and get to feeling better.
Chickpea good luck at the docs today and wishes up it doesn't kick your ass on the way there! Hope you find a hidden treasure on the way home to tell us all about ;). Wait you're just waking up, wow!
I'm trying to recoup after my 5 hr journey to and back from my docs office yesterday. I talked him into reducing one of my seizure meds, yah, but he sure wasn't happy about it. I'm just tired of living in a fog and hoping this helps some! Saw some major flooding and a bald eagle (uncommon to see one here). I feel blessed to have a cabbie willing to take me thru rush hour and a friendly one with 3 muskateers!

Grammagus, I'll take some of that sunshine, it's raining here. ..ugh. I'm so glad you made out so well at the doctors yesterday. That's hiw my dad gets most of his pills because he goes to the VA as well. He does keep a primary care dr outside of the VA as well because it takes too long to get appointments and with his heart and diabetes issues, he can't always wait. But otherwise, they're great place to go. They are very thorough. I hope you enjoy your bike ride.
Magicpill, I take Claritin D - 12 hr for my allergies and it really is the only medication that helps me. Have you rver tried it? It's over the counter, but works wonderful. My allergies are awful year round and I've tried prescription stuff, allegra and a few others but nothing else worked for me. I hope you feel better.
Vicky, Omg, you must have Esp. I meant to send you a message last night because I hadn't seen you and wanted to make sure you were okay and then I fell asleep before I could do it. I'm sorry, I really wanted you to know we were missing you here. I'm glad you're ok.
You're always working so hard. I don't know how you do it with the pain you're in honey.
Serenity, Good luck at the doctors today. I hope you're feeling okay. Or is this a regular appointment you have scheduled. I'm glad it's a sunny day for you to go downtown and pick up some things.
As for me, the nurse just left and I have some laundry to do and I have to do the spreadsheets for the bar. Well I'm trying to do the spreadsheets for the accountant for the quarter so that he can get my taxes done for the bar. Other than that, its a rainy day around 50º, but it's killing my back, hip and legs.
I pray everyone has a low pain day with low stress

Toni, how did you make out yesterday with your doctor. Is he going to take you off one of those or not. That's such a long ride so you are lucky that you had a pleasant driver. I hope you're able to get some rest today.

Had the big 150 mile, round trip, to the big smoke and caught up with the Rheumy,.. grrr. had an fresh intern again, I am a bit to complex, (weird 8-),.... and really needed to see the guru, he was away o'seas,... sigh,,... wait for 3 months and try again...
Have to go up for an pain management appt again next Tuesday as well..... Yaaay,.... Hungry Jacks burgers,.... (Ummm,.. I think like your Burger King???)...... is just near the hospital,,,... He He....... I like Hungry Jacks.. 8-)
So hoping our dear friends that are battling the challenges get to find some comfort today and crossing flippers everything starts to play fair.. real soon...

Seek I'm pissed again with your trip! Can't you get another doc? You are too complex for some intern! At least you get to go for some pain management and they better do you some good. If memory serves ME could use some sunshine. I am with you sister same temp here in Arkansas and dreary rain and it makes the body hurt.
Vicky I wish you some peace. Is this an on call week as well as your normal at work day. I hope not. When I was working I always dreamed of vacation. Planned one way ahead of time and crossed the days off. Never went far but it was always away from a phone and the house. As Toni said hit that chocolate and a warm bath.
Serenity hope the day holds for you to get downtown and do all you need to do.

Seek dear Seek do you sleep . I agree with Toni need a new Rheumy or maybe just we come and hand pick a medical team for you. We might possibly be a little spoiled here in the states but it is going to change I believe.

Magic you sound like me. I fought the sinus thing since January. Tried Zicam crystals, apple cider vinegar with the mother, pure garlic powder, pure unfiltered local honey and used a humidifier. Yesterday I finally went to Urgent Care clinic because I couldn't get anything from my nasal passage but scabs. Nose burned when I breathed and it was time to go. Got some antibiotics which I also hate. Also a shot in the butt of steroids. I am already breathing better from my nose. Hope you are well soon. I find honey and cinnamon mixed together in a light paste to be the most soothing for throat irritation and cough.
Minnie and Erika glad you are getting the sunny weather.
Just like yesterday I am sure others have slipped in so I wish all peace and joy.
