Since it is close to Halloween, I thought black and orange tarts for breakfast. Chocolate tarts with orange marmalade filling. Oooh, I'm making myself hungry.
Yesterday was another rest day. I believe we will take it really easy this week. We actually need the room where the desk sits for more boxes The church guys will come and get the desk on Sunday after church, then we will have some more room.
Today, finally, the manager will come fix my toilet. I'm glad it was a slow leak, not a gusher. I wrapped a heavy towel around the base and it has held the water from leaking out from under the toilet.
I haven't worked on my friend's baby blanket in a couple days. I did babysit for a couple hours yesterday. I am getting a little bit of cash and trying to put it aside for some extra for the trip.
My great grandson went home from the hospital on Sunday. He is doing better. At 11 months old it is hard to understand what is going on when you have chickenpox and pneumonia. and then he ends up in a strange place where people poked and prodded. I am so glad he is home.

anyhoo, glad you're able to get a post on through the tangled interweb.
thanks for the wish, but i woke myself yelping just trying to turn over. it took awhile to get out of bed just to get to the sofa and heating pad, so here i sit warming my buns. i did a few little things that probably stressed this squeaky wheel of a bod, but i thought with a lido patch and plenty of icy hot i'd be ok. at least, my hair is vibrant red again.
this "having to think about every slight move" thing just doesn't sink in. posting something on etsy meant chasing the sun and trying to rig a setting over and over. the leftover fridge clean up had to wait. that one always goes to the bottom of the list :) as i nibble my way through them. pork roast and kumquats were still good anyway. (toni, don't get any ideas! i don't even know where you'd get kumquats.)
penny joined me on the sofa and is sleeping so well, so i'm hoping i can learn be inspired by her.
