What a super Sunday surprise to see you this morning! I am so very sorry that you having such trouble with your had and also Ed's Parkinson's. I'm happy you were able to get an Appt. for your hand, but wow what a drive. I glad you have secured a ride. I hope they are able to figure out your hand trouble on the first visit & give you some meds that will hopefully alleviate the pain.
I'm so sorry Ed's Parkinson's is getting worse, but am thankful he now has Medicare so the Appt. won't cost anything except your copay if there is one. I hope they will be able to adjust his meds so he'll be doing a little better.
I was hoping to be sleeping right now. I agreed to let our three little dogs sleep with us last night so they didn't wake my hubby up at the crack of dawn. I fell asleep with the Tv on around 2:30. When there is no activity with the DVR box the screen goes black with a message that it's off. Our youngest little one Buster woke my husband at 7:00 & rather then just push the button to shut it all off he thought it best to wake me up to turn it off......did I mention I was sleeping?! LOL Rather than yell I threw on my sweats & came out to my little corner of the garage to say Good Morning to all. My body is really feeling the effects of the family reunion, but it was worth all the extra pain just to be able to see everyone!
I hope you and all that follow have a special Sunday with little to no pain. All the other stressors can hopefully wait until tomorrow!
Love, Hugs & God Bless
Lisa
I was just saying yesterday that I hadn't seen you in a while. I'm so sorry that you're having so many problems with your hand. I know how much you use it doing your beautiful crochet creations. I hope the doctors are able to help you with that. I wish they didn't have to send you so far to go to the doctors. Are you on medicare too or is Ed the only one on? The VA always seens to send you so far away or yiu have to wait a while to get in. My dad has that problem as well, but he also has an hmo that he can use.
Do they know that you don't drive. 50 miles away is far. I'm glad you found someone to take you. I'm sorry Ed is getting worse. Why is it that when men don't feel good, they tend to have an attutude adjustment. I hope the doctors can help Ed and you.
Lisa, I'm glad you had a goid time yesterday at the reunion. Your husband couldn't have just shut the damn tv off himself. He had to wake you to do that? I would have killed him for waking me to shut the tv off, especially seeing you don't get much sleep to begin with.
Well I'm just having a relaxing Sunday. Besides working out and a little laundry, I am staying home and cooking myself a nice London Broil for dinner. We're suppose to get rain the next few days so won't be going to the beach. I finally have my orthopedic appointment tomorrow to check out this torn tendon in my shoulder. Finally, then I see my primary care on Tuesday. Once these appointments are taken care of, I need to see the Skin Cancer dr. For some surgery I put off when I had my neck done. I also have to reschedule my Colonoscopy. I had to cancel that when I had my neck done too. It never ends. I still need to see the neurosurgeon about my neck. Every time I move it clicks and hurts. It jyst doesn't feel right to me, but I'll take care of these other things first.
I hope everyone has a low pain day with low stress.
Love and hugs,

lisa, kudos to you for not getting upset over that situation. men. i'm glad you had had fun at the reunion. hoping you can recuperate today and get lots of relief.
my sleep was pretty sketchy last night. i was up from about 2-6, then got back to sleep a few hours, so i'm still waking up. not a clue what i'll do today except leave the AC on. heard back from the guy about my computer issues and he doesn't work on macs, etc. i'll keep trying on that front.
wishing all a relaxing sunday!
good luck with the work out and laundry! hugs!
Lisa- I can't believe your husband couldn't be bothered to turn off the TV. I fall asleep with it on all the time. Usually, I set the sleep timer if I think I might fall asleep, but if I forget, my husband is usually good about turning it off after I fall asleep. I tend to have problems falling asleep and don't usually get to sleep until around 11 or 12 at night (he's usually in bed by 9 so he can get up for work the next day.) But, I hear you on the lack of sleep. At 4:30 this morning, my cat decided it was an appropriate time to shove everything off of every nightstand and table in the house. When I didn't get up after his initial shoving of everything off the end tables by the couch, he came into the bedroom and shoved my lamp off the night table. Brat!!! I still don't know what he wanted....
ME- I hear you about all the appointments. I'll be honest, sometimes they seem like a never ending cycle. But the good news is that they usually result in positive forward movement in resolving situations. I'm sorry about the pain that you are still having in your neck. Try having a nice relaxing day off. I know you're missing out on the beach today, but maybe a nice day indoors will help?
Serenity - Crappy sleep for you, too? Seems like a theme today. Maybe we should all go to bed early tonight? lol. I'm sorry the computer guy can't work on your computer. I have a Mac, too, but I haven't needed to have it worked on yet. I'm usually pretty good at working on my own computer. However, Macs can be a little different and sometimes I defer to a pro on those.
I hope everyone has a great Sunday!!!

wishes for low pain and little stress for us all.
Hey Iggy, how are you feeling today? You're right, it's good to take a break from the beach. I hope you enjoy your day today!

Grammagus it's so good to see you. Sorry so much hardship is going on at your end. Call your local Human Services Department and ask if you qualify for transportation services. If you receive any state benefits you probably will get rides to medical appointments.
Shame on your hubby Lisa! I feel like thumping him myself, errrrr. So glad you had a good time at the reunion, it sounded like it was going to be so much fun and worth the aches and pains!
ME I've been counting down the days with you and it's here! well tomorrow. Now the doc better whisk you right into testing and fix you up. Speaking of fixing you up......so good to hear you are moving forward with your other issues. We have it in print so now you have to.....no backing out!!!!!!!!! tee hee
Hello Serenity I'm sorry you keep having these damn hurdles with your computer, ugh. There's a reason out there, maybe someone's going to give you a new one or something? the winning lottery ticket? Sleep on it and grab a much needed nap today.
Me, Myself and I are taking it easy today. Had a storm front come thru here last night and I'm feeling it. Love the thunder, but don't need the explosions in my body!
I made a batch of tuna salad yesterday and I have corn on the cob so lunch and supper is taken care. Mm it's some good sweet corn too.
Well kick back and take it easy my wonderful friends in the FC! Know how truly special you are ;)
Toni
Hope those pain levels have went down for you both and you find some joy in your day.
Hugs........
Lisa, I'm glad you enjoyed the family reunion and I was pretty sure you were going to be wore out. I can understand your husband wanting to sleep in since he probably gets up earlier usually but there was a more loving way to ask you then waking you up out of a sound sleep. Thankfully Hal gets up same time every day so he gets up before me. I've explained that I would love to get up and make his coffee, etc, but I just can't move well without severe pain first thing in the morning. He totally gets it. Maybe your hubby needs a crash course in manners, or is he trying to tell you something? Who knows. Sometimes I think women would be better off married to Aardvarks than men, lol! Now, go back to bed! Hugs, Dianna
ME, man that London Broil sounds good. So does the rain since we're dry as a bone! I'm waiting with baited breath to see what the Ortho says. Oh Lord, sounds like one appointment after another coming up! Something needs to be done with your neck. It never ends for all of us does it? Enjoy your dinner. xoxo
Serenity, how can a computer guy not work on Macs? Well, anyway, I'm glad you're not giving up. Awful sleep for you. Was it too warm in your place? I hope the AC makes the difference and you get a good night's sleep tonight. Hugs
Not breathing too well this morning. Doctor took me off both inhalers 2 weeks ago due to my elevated heart rate. He said the broncho-dilators might be causing it. My HR has gone down a tad but not enough to make a difference. He sent me home with a Pulmicort Flexhaler which is steroid only. And I'm back to using my rescue inhaler. And no, the 02 nasal cannula is still coming off at night! Very frustrating.
Now that I got that off my chest, my daughter and I are going to see "Lucy" at 2:45 today. It's got Scarlett Johansen and Morgan Freeman in it. I'm excited! I'll finish my coffee and start getting ready soon.
I hope everyone here has a cool Sunday and prayers are going out to our other friends who are having a rough time right now, Hugs, Dianna
Toni, I'm sorry you're havibg lousy weather. I know the feeling with it hurting your body because it kills mine. I don't back down from any of ny appointments. I just took a break from some of them. The corn sounds good! Enjoy honey!
Dianna, I'm worried about those breathing issues of yours. I don't like hearing that your having trouble with that. The doctors better get a better handle on that and I personally think it was a mistake for them to take you off your inhalers, but I know they're trying to figure out what works and what doesn't.
I hope you and Katy have a wonderful day at the movies. I'm dying to hear how that movie was. Enjoy!
Hope you both have low pain days.
Love and hugs,

Just so much going on again. Son ( bipolar disorder/OCD/lower IQ with dreds ) is in Florida and works with two wonderful restaurant owners. They are trying to help him find a place to live on his meager salary and they told me he slept on a park bench........broken hearted......bc his last place went under and the owner did not pay his last 2 weeks salary.
He has only a text phone with no charger, the list goes on so I will need to find a way for him to get a room for the night and then get him a low cost apartment. These women says he is the best line cook and they wished they could pay more but in a town of 3,000 hard to do.
Enough. Just overwhelmed.
Hugs to all,
Joanne
