did you give the bear to the couple at church yet?
I quit shopping wal mart several years ago. Just always had experiences. I bought a new sewing machine years ago ,mine that can so quilting,MIT has been a nightmare. I paid 200 last year to get it cleaned and repaired. It worked a little white and trouble again
I gave up, so,there lays the quilt for my daughter half made.
Let me know how ordering fabric online went.
Maybe some biofreeze will help your hand.
Hope all goes better.
I picked up a beautiful sewing machine at an antique store. I think I pain forty bucks for it. It has beautiful black iron scrolls in between the legs on the side and a black platform down by your feet it has the criss cross design making little squares & the machine is the old heavy black one where you push your leg against the lever to control the speed. I was surprised when we got it home that the three little drawers on each side on the front were filled with thread, bobbins, the original replacement parts, scissors and many other goodies. We got it around four years ago & I just know I'm actually going to use it sometime this decade lol I used to sew a lot when I was in my teens I really need to sit down and just make something.
That sucks that your Walmart experience went south, I hope your fabric shows up sooner rather than later.
I hope your finger feels better soon, I know how much you love your crocheting. I'm sending up prayers for healing and comfort.
Hugs & God Bless
Lisa
Ps feel free to share a tiny bit of your heat were going down to 30 degrees for the next couple of nights with highs near fifty during the day. Fingers crossed we'll hit 70 over the weekend.
Hope that sewing machine brings you comfort over what you can't do.
Hugs......Toni
it's so nice to see you! I've missed you and I'm sorry you're dealing with all of these problems with your hands. I know how much you love to crochet and for something to keep you from doing that must be really bothering you. I used to crochet, but the swelling and numbness and pain in my fingers made me stop, but my crocheting is nothing compared to the beautiful things you make.
I'm glad you got the sewing machine and sorry you had problems with Walmart and their customer service. I don't care for them either, but their prices are great. I go to Joanne's fabrics for a lot of my stuff now. Have you ever used them Grammagus? I hope and pray you feel better soon so that you can get back to your crocheting that means so much to you. I pray that your pain eases soon and they find out what is causing it.
Again, it is nice to see you on the board. I'm keeping you and Ed in my prayers.
Hugs and love,
