Toni I hope your eyes are feeling better tidy. I get dry eyes alot too. Too much screen time is what I blame it on. Yours sounds more severe than I've ever had though. It must be so painful.
Joanne good luck with your physical this week. I haven't had one in a couple years since my gp left her practice. Neither of us has a family doctor now.
Serenity sounds like you've been working too hard. Time to take a day off maybe and rest that ankle. I wear compression socks too to prevent my ankle swelling so much. I hope you've found yours.
Carly I hope you didn't have to stay up too late waiting for hubby to get home. I'm sure he really appreciated your calls on the road. It's dangerous driving tired.
Lavender I hope you are doing okay. Say hi when you can.
The Canada games are here in my province for the next two weeks so they've closed the schools. I'll be taking my grandkids to their day program each morning for this period. They arrive about 7am and I can drop them off any time after 8. They had breakfast here this morning and I drove them over around 8:15. It's nice to see them every day and I was up at 5 today anyway.
Gotta run, I'll be back later.
Hugs, Nonie
Now, now. Cut yourself some slack. We all hit a wall or daily life does interrupt our creative mind. I think you’re just excited about getting back into the garden.
Nonie, it’s great to get all this together time with the gkids. I’ve heard such good things about PEI. Enjoy.
Carly, hope hubby made it back while you managed to stay awake. Of all times to have a flat.
Toni, so sorry your eyes are bothering you so much. Hope they’re better today.
I decided to go visit mother yesterday since she’s resettled in her apartment and feeling better. I can’t stay off my feet here! I had a few things for her, but I forgot the dates which she loves. Nice visit.
My ankle is down finally but I can’t find the compression socks.
First call I got this morning was the bank fraud dept bc someone tried to use my card in Tokyo!
Hugs n hope for a pleasant day! It’s warm and sunny here :)).
Sandra-My favorite pancake is called a Dutch Baby and it's lemon and either sugar or syrup. We all hit a wall on just meandering around and not focusing on what needs to either be done or our fun stuff. It's the time of year and/or the weather.
Serenity-it is hard to stay off the feet when you are trying to unpack. Are there items you still need to get? Do you have all your kitchen supplies?
My physical has been changed to March 2nd which is fine with me. My doc has family coming in from New Zealand as a surprise for her birthday a week earlier due to airplane scheduling.
Finally I've decided on a plan to rearrange the TV and seating. My main floor is all one big area with kitchen, dining and living room with windows on every wall. It's taken four years and many changes to finally think where the TV should go and the TV stand with electric fire place. Now to plan it out. My paint colors are going to work beautifully with this transition. This is going to be a wonderful surprise for Mario as Tessa and Jake will be helping me with this change. He give me carte blanche for all things with design. Now I'm motivated to paint the dining room table/chairs I got for free in the garage.
PEACE
How fun Sandra! I'll have to try that.I'm panning on a trip to the store so ull pick up a lemon. You have some cool holidays. Heck we all put off things and it's that the time of year. To have the blahs.
Lisa I like peanut butter on pancakes too, thought syrup better. Are the island celebration part of the games? I'm with you I'd prefer it in the warm too. Guess not the same.
Serenity nothing is going anywhere, allow yourself to rest. Sorry your lady didn't show up, but sure am glad you have a neighbor to help carry things in. Tokyo?! Wow you do get around!
Moonie glad you enjoyed your game with neighbors, I've played a lot of card games, but never that one.
Carly what a trip for hubby, crazy the guy that came didn't know how to change a tire or have a jack. I hope he foundsomethinggood .good about his trip. I have no idea where goose eyes came from eww! No way!
Thanks for all the well wished. Ive had chronic dry eyes on my bottom eyelids for several years, it took several tries with things before we found micro cones fixed that. What's happening now is an infection in the top eye lids. He wrote a prescription for a month and another one just in case. Hopefully it works soon. Today feels worst of all and I'm hoping it's just because it's cleaning it out. I can't remember ever having one before so I don't know.
I'm definitely slowed down. It's been so warn what a waste. Tonight it's suppose to start raining and tomorrow the big rain is coming.
I'm going to run to the store for a few items before it starts in its not far away and I know where everything is. Get me out of here for a bit.
Lavi come on in and say howdy.
Peace love harmony xoxo
