Hi folks, I couldn't think up a catch title today lol. But I'm still alive and kicking, so-to-speak, so that's a good thing.

So I had that nasty nerve block yesterday. Afterwards the doctor said 'Thanks for putting up with the torture' just to give you an idea how it went. I winced and flinched so much the poor Dr was constantly saying sorry. It hurt alot in case I didn't make that clear yet lol. He did 2 this time - one for each side in hopes that it will work better than last time. He had a hard time getting in on one side so had to try two different entries before he got it. And that's with xray and dye. I must say the freezing in my back was nice. I ended up sleeping off and on all day (from 6-9 last evening! ) then slept most of the night. Feels good to be rested for the first time in months. I'm taking it super easy today and plan to tomorrow as well. Here's hoping this one works!

My province's reprieve from the virus is over. Three new cases today, all related to out of province travel. Luckily it wasn't any of the seasonal residence or they could very well be driven of the island by an angry mob with pitch forks! Lots of angry comments on FB before people read the whole article saying it was all full time island residents, two of whom travelled and one by contact with one of the two. Oh well we knew it wasn't over for good, just hoped to get through the summer. I'm just hoping that's all there is until my grandson makes it over next weekend. I wish I could just go get him right now!

Toni congratulations on a whole month smoke free. That's a tough thing to do. I've heard alcoholics say it is harder than quitting drink!
