Doug and i went for a walk through the woods this morning which was nice.
Then we had lunch and i hoovered up and moped the kitchen floor.
Movie night tonight on Netflix as usual.

We are married!!!! 10/10/2026!!! More photos will be in my journal than on here but will share a few!Also our flower dog did a great job!I will say I am in the worst pain flare imaginable! Friday and Saturday really drained me physically

44F it was very foggy, this was taken awhile ago and it reminded me of what was going on in my mind.Mom is still here and for her that is not what I want. She needs to be at peace. We were there so many hours and I'm so exhausted that today I won't do anything but veg and watch a movie, a ghostly one. My sis and I spent 9 hours at Mom's going through things, she goes through things fast, my OCD makes me read everything. My Dad's brother died in the second world war and I found letters he sent to Gram and Dad. It was fascinating to read letters from someone in the midst of war. He was in the Pacific Front Luzon, Island and never thought he'd come home. It must have been hell.
Mom still hanging in there and they says it's a matter of hours. I bought her a new burial dress, a red sweater dress. She always ware red or purple, my Mom dressed everyday in her dress or skirt, make up and pearl necklace. Now it's so sad.

It is late and eyes are closing but I just wanted to pop in to say hello.
It took us an hour longer to get home the traffic was horrible and 2 major wrecks along the way! Needless to say it slowed things down to a crawl.

Joanne, I understand about going through everything. We had so many bin's full of stuff and I had to go through everything. I will say that OCD can be a blessing and a curse but I like the first one. If you go through everything and read everything you learn so much and see so much that you might have missed.
I loved hearing how your mom dressed everyday and wore her pearl's. It was a chore for me today to put on makeup. Having to wash it all off was also a chore. lol
It must be so painful waiting. I am sure you will let us know.
How interesting that must have been to find those letters.
