It is another cooler day and soon it will be a common temperature.
That is the fig tree down in my garden where the figs are now getting ripe. The other fig tree is on the dike and ripens later.
Sandra, the best ever fruit tree in my opinion are fig trees. There are many different options for when they ripen and can grow anywhere. They are fast growing, no bugs or diseases and basically need little care. The three we have on the moorage grow in different areas and all do well. I was thinking about your garden and the wetter area. I do remember about Doug and his job which is why I had asked. What a bummer!
Carly, When we live this earth I don't want all the turmoil my family has left behind to be formost in what the family deals with. My family is exhausted. My brother that had the leg amputation and lives out of town is having a difficult time with all of this drama. I'm sure you too have so much on your plate with Mike and Abbeville and let's not forget the ranch drama.
Leo, will life ever get easier?

80FIt is cold overnight down into the 40's which I do like as the windows in the bedroom can be opened. That is Mateo a Blue Heron. He hangs around across from us and enjoys when we catch fish and throw to him!Sandra, how was work? BTW how is Doug doing with his health and how is his job doing? Do you have coffee or tea rooms close to where you live and can walk to? That is one of the things I...

It is so weird how the weather changes. It was 95f this afternoon and now down to 82 here tonight. We really need rain even after a few days of showers. We are still under a burn ban.
I loved seeing the fig tree pic. I am not sure if we have any around here. I don't even see them sold in the stores. But I have to say that I have never looked.
Joanne, we all have so much on our plate. :-( I have found that when I think I have it bad someone else has it worse.
Mike got a lot done at the ranch. He did ok alone. He drove his dump truck to the quarry and finally finished the road that was washed out by the flood. It took him many trips but finally finished. The water is still not working as well as it should in the house. Hopefully next trip they can get the source relocated or fixed where it is.
He brought home so many loads of clothes as of course there is no washing going on. Looks like I know what I will be doing for the next few days. He has always washed colors and whites together. grrr! I will take out all the whites and wash with bleach.
Sandra, I hope you and Doug had a nice visit to Bromely. How is your garden growing?
Leo, hope all is well with you and your Puma.
Love and hugs to all. Wishing everyone a great week.
