Yesterday I had a phone appointment with my doctor. It was really a mix of a lot of information on all the tests I have had done.
The microvascular eschemia is something we all have, just to different degrees. It usually comes with getting older. It is minor strokes, but we don't even know that we have them as they are so small, and nothing to worry about. Hurray.
There is a slight enlargement on the right side of my heart, however it is not upsetting the normal flow of blood, another Hurray.
Diabetes is very much under control.
I don't need to make any appointments unless I feel it is needed and my labs are now set for once every six months. Another hurray.
This does not mean that I am pain free, and as you can see I am up in the middle of the night AGAIN. I just wanted to share my good news with my friends and to give you all hope that things can get better.
I do struggle to keep my diabetes under control, but the doctor says I am doing very well and to just keep up the good work.
Ed has been struggling a bit more than usual. He is between doctors. He had a county health program, but that ended when he got reevaluated and put medicaid. He has the medicaid, but does not have a health card yet. He qualifies for Medicare in July, so we think they are waiting for him to get Medicare. He hates going to doctors, but don't we all.
Have a great day all. I must go as my hand is hurting as I am trying to finish a very large crocheted bear for one of the newest babies in the church. I would like to get it done in time for church tomorrow, but we will see.

My 6mo twin DD's are EBF and just started rice cereal on the first. Everything has been going fine except this morning one of them had a diaper rash (lots of redness around her anus). I read this as one of the signs of an allergy. BUT I did just buy a different brand diaper yesterday (which they have used randomly before w/no issues). Do you think its the cereal or the diaper? Im ready to start...

Aww... my best friend here has really scary "sugar", since childhood , poor bloke has to constantly monitor his sugar reading and has to re-adjust... eeek needles.... I would be a hopeless diabetic because of them...... Good part is with advancements in technology, he now has a cool pen thing'y to inject the insulin with a twist, it dials in the rate... n all done 8-)....
Hopes Ed can find a good new GP to help him feel a bit more sparkly real soon....
That's precious making a crocheted bear for the newest arrival at church, wouldn't it be cool if that bear becomes a much loved family heirloom for future generations... 8-)

That's great news, awesome in fact. Good things come to good people, I truly believe that. Oh that new baby will love that bear. Who wouldn't? You're a gem!

I love going to the doc and hearing...hey you have problems A , B , and C but all and all its looking good.
I love babies....Its super cute when the toy is bigger than the kiddo.
