Grammagus...those treats sound good!! Wish I was there!!
Well...the med switch is going pretty good. No real withdrawal symptoms. I do have an annoying cold, but other than that..things are about the same. Saturday is Maddy's first competition of the season. Going to crazy...but I'll get through it!! It should be a good weekend...but crazy busy
Have a great day!!!
Autumn
Grammagus, those cokies and bars both sound good. I'm not much of a baker which is a good thing because I have a sweet tooth and would probably eat everything before I got it where it was suppose to be. I'm glad you got a good night sleep in your bed for a change.
I went to the site and saw all the animals and other critters and things that you made. I loved them. You're very talented.
Autumn, it's so nice to see you. I'm glad the medication switch is going pretty well for you. Maddy must be getting excited about her competition. I'm sure she'll do great. Just hope your pain has eased llittle so that it's more tolerable for you.
As for me, I have a quiet day on hand. Nursing coming in later and my sister is coming by after work to give me a shower. I talked to my cousin Renay yesterday. Her husband Donald went for his scans, he has cancer and it's in his bones now. He had decided to take chemo pills but he wasn't going to live in the hospital, sick every day. He wanted to enjoy whatever time he had left with his family and friends and be able to do as much as possible.
He never complains anyway, but I guess the meds have stopped working and now he's growing more lesions so now they have to try another chemo drug. They're waiting for approval from the insurance company now. He's 80, but you wouldn't know it and they're an active couple whether it be at church or goung to one of their grandkids baseball, soccer, games. So I'm just praying they find something that works for him.
I pray you all have a low pain day with low stress.
Love and hugs,
Xoxoxoxo

Well here we are again.
Yesterday I was out did a bit of guy type clothes shopping, tried on the pants, they felt ok so I bought them.
When I got home V wanted me to try them on again, finely when I did she is telling me that the pants did not look good on my butt, I tried to say I did not care I can't see my butt, she saw no humor in my response ...
This is why I hate clothes shopping, for some reason I thought if they fit waist and length, all was good
Guess not...
So today I'm going back to the store, why does everything seem so difficult ?
I'm just buying carhart work wear at the farm store,
Ok also thinking about packing and getting ready to go west
I need to clean the van, had it serviced earlier last week
So getting closer to blast off!
Peace n Hugs
Michael
Grammagus, I would love to have the ability to bake without mind numbing pain. I love to bake. I can't even make the chocolate chip cookies I used to make for the guys at my husband's work. Your cookies and chocolate coconut bars sound heavenly. I would love it if you could post the recipe. If I were making stuff like that, I would have to ride the bike 24/7,lol! I hope you and hubby have a great day!
Hi Autumn! Is the new med working better than the Fentanyl? I have always admired you for running around with/for the girls despite the pain. Try to take it as easy as possible! Hugs.
Top 'o the morning ME! Sorry another family member is sick. I hope his doc is managing the pain he must be feeling. I know you are going stir crazy having to take it easy and not work out but you will be back to it soon enough. Only 2 1/2 weeks til the collar comes off! Find a good movie and chill,ok? Xxoxx.
Well, looks like Max has tried out our bed and likes it. Jack? Not so much. Our bed has been exclusively his for almost 9 yrs. Last night I woke up to Jack licking Max's head. Max had so much slobber on him he looked like Fonzie from "Happy Days"!
After hitting the cement floor for groceries, I"m kinda sore so I'll be taking it easy today. I hope everyone has a low pain day.
Hugs,
Dianna
Grammagus hey good news on sleeping all night! Yum yum cookies you have my taste buds going now tee hee.
Autumn! What a relief to hear there's no withdrawal and your new med is working! Maddy's quite the ballerina at this point isn't she :).
ME I hope Donald's body fights hard with this new med. Him and his wife are just a couple of angels and I hope and pray for both of them. Enjoy your shower!
LMAO Mike!!! Lord forbid your pants don't look good on your butt! too funny! I mean you need to be warm to go skiing. A nice pair of slacks for sitting around and dining? Shit have some fun!
Hey BAHB sounds like Jack liked it to me or you wouldn't have a spit ball on your bed. What's with these two anyways Jack has turned into Daddy! Recover Woman!
After cleaning my bedroom yesterday I'm wore out! So i'll be laid back in a fountain of flowing chocolate! Red wine makes you feel fine! Then i'll have a nine year old come in the door yelling at the top of her lungs how hungry she is. She will NOT get in my fountain I swear!
Love and Hugs,
Toni
Gramm-I love baking, too!
Autumn-glad you are doing ok on the opana.
ME-so sorry about your cousins.
Mike-have a great trip.
Dianna-low key day for you.
Erika-have a good time at the gym.
On my way to the mortgage company to sign some papers. It is getting down to the wire on the refi and if it does not happen we will be selling and perhaps moving closer to son and dil north of us in Washington. I want to stay here for at least 5 years until my hubby retires.
Then my dentist. I just love her understanding of me.
My prednisone is being lowered 1 mg a month because I want to be off, but I do like having mobility. Unfortunately this is the 5th day of lowering the last time and I have increased pain. It is up to me what I want to do with either increasing or letting it go and I am not sure.
Have a better day and lower pain to all,
Joanne
i read each of your posts and it's good to see so many checking in. i just can't reply to each person, but hugs and thoughts are with you.
