Good morning everyone. I am up early today, I've actually been up for well over an hour already. I thought I might go back to sleep but it wasn't happening so I got up. I woke alot last night with pain in my right ankle.. its the leg with the worst sciatica and this foot bothers me from time to time. It doesn't hurt more to walk on it or bend it in any way it just aches really bad and I get shooting pains in the big knuckle on the side of my ankle. It has been really cool and rainy for a few days so that's probably what it is. The weekend is supposed to be sunny and around 70-72 so hopefully it will improve.
I'm not babysitting today but I do have to pick up my granddaughter from school. Her mom gets off at 3:00 ; exactly when she needs to be picked up. I just pick her up and drive her home and her mom is there within 5 minutes, no biggie cause I have to go into town to pick up a few things today anyway This way I get to talk to her for a few minutes and see how her day was before she leaves for her dad's for the weekend.
I'm not sure yet what i'll get done today but being up so early I hope I get to something. I feel pretty good mentally right now just hope it continues. I had a visit from my old friend again yesterday. My first ever boyfriend (my first kiss!) that found me on facebook. Nice guy and a good friend, I'm so glad he found me. We were good friends for a long time back in the 80's and have sworn to not lose touch again. I expressed some concern to him that he might have been let down when he met me again. Also the fact that I'm in a relationship in which I'm very happy (which means he can't be more than a friend). He was great and said of course he wasn't disappointed. He's just glad to have found me and when he writes me emails he signs them with 'friends forever'... great guy. Maybe he's holding out hope or maybe he's just content to be friends; whichever it is I'm fine with. He's one of those old friends I've thought about all my life and wondered where he was; now I know.

i hope you have a lovely day with low pain.
for once in a long time, i slept so well. i took a zyrtek and it really helped - no big sinus issues this morning. sleepiness hit me so suddenly that i didn't prep the coffee and accidentally poured a little coffee in the water area before i caught myself. after plenty more coffee, i'm going through what's become my usual routine and a little cooking. maybe kale chips...

Serenity , high 5 on sleeping !!! It's amazing how good our body and mind works after a good night of sleep .
Me........ Clean and laundry as usual . Lol I will be doing all of it in the middle of naps and if she plays well by herself today . Yes I have little Miss Elsie today and I had her yesterday . She's got a super sore throat and fever . She hates her meds lol. The pharmacy forgot to flavor it so hopeful someone took it in last night to be flavored .
Maybe I make it to the doctor tomorrow . Ok Toni , I hear you yelling from here. Lol. I'm thinking maybe this is why I have no energy . It couldn't be from waiting so long to go to the doctor that my body is full of infection .lol
Seek, I read post late last night and seen you post yesterday and it was reat to see you back . You've been missed . Wishing you happy thoughts and low pain levels my friend .

Susie, I had a kidney infection so bad, and was with hubbys elderly parents who ddnt drive, that I needed an ambulance to go to the hospital. They gave me IV antibiotics. Forgive me for the lecture. I hate to know youre in pain.
My day: Well, Guess I will wait and see. Have a sniffle that makes me tired, but lots of food in the house, and I DID cook homemade just for me! That was a big hurdle that Ive been working on since the kids left home. Very embarrassing to say. Ive been a snacker for years. Next hurdle is cooking stuffed green peppers for Rick tomorrow.

Serenity, congrats on a good night's sleep. I know how elusive it is for you at times! Yep, I went to go with my bowl of frosting to frost the cake last night and almost frosted the pizza. Oy vey! I hope you have a wonderful day.
Hi Susie! Laundry doesn't do itself, does it? I hope you get it all done so you can rest. If you have a UTI, that's the most likely culprit in your lack of energy. UTI's happened with me when the kids were small and I was running my ass off. I was most vulnerable to one when I was run down. I hope you go to the dr tomorrow so you can start feeling better.
Good morning Dawn! I'm embarrassed to admit to how often Hal and I eat out since the kids left home. And when I cook, it's almost impossible for me to cook for just two. Nothing wrong with being a snacker. They say that several small meals a day is healthier than 3 large meals. Have a good day!
Well, I'm still in this flare. I feel so run down and achy. I could hardly dress myself yesterday to go to the store! Today I'll do the basics if I feel like it. Otherwise, I'll just sit on my backside and relax. It's hard since I know it's not good to just sit. I need to go to Home Depot for the paint for my bathroom. My dil talked me into purple last week but I've changed my mind to Turqoise. The guys want to install the tile Monday so I'll have to go today or tomorrow. I can't wait to install my beautiful vanity and onyx sink.

I had a drs appt. with no sleep ugh. she's going to set up a stinkin stress test for me. I hate those things, who wants their heart feeling like it's going to explode! waaaaaa ok my big baby moment is over with. I told her about the woman in the street incident so she insisted on pulling, pushing and killing my arms. what these drs think they r going to get out of this I don't know!
I hope u all r feeling better by now and have a peaceful sleep tonight. seek a good day to you too :)
