Hello all,
We're having lots of freezing rain today. I can hear it pinging off the kitchen roof. Not much snow so far so that's nice but it'll be very slippery (or as we say around here - slippy lol) once we get out again.
I've finished the waistbands for both our pants so far, just need to do his hems and I can work on the doll.
We've had so many great people helping as we've searched for funeral clothes for hubby. He's a big man (50" waist, size 12 shoes) and we don't have alot of money so no running to the nearest 'big & tall' shop. One friend asked another friend. Those near thrift stores checked for us or called them. Even discovered there is a 'free store' in town that I never knew about. A friend's church even offered to reimburse us for new clothes if we had to go that route.
I'm so happy with the community support around here. Some really great people here. In the end we showed and found what we needed between thrift stores and Walmart for just over $50 which was manageable (and the first friend I contacted gave us the money to cover it). Even got brand new suit pants(thrift store), they've never been hemmed .
My pain levels are reasonable today considering the weather and stress. I think the nerve block is working. All in all its been a Roller coaster week. How is everyone else doing? Let's have it!

I got my touch up painting done. Some things put away and planned.
Hairy monsters are clean and nails clipped, Daisy Mae is the worst in the world for clipping!
I'm getting closer to getting this done. Still putting the assembly of bed off, it's a challenge!
I got my loan forms yesterday, I'll work on them tonight.
Talked to Mike today and he's getting ready for his Florida trip. Sounds great being in the warmth.

Toni-fur babies are what keep us grounded. We feed them. Bathe them. Love them. You go girl on the painting and loan forms.
Busy days for me. Visited parents/ lunch with sis/PT. Then today we went to brunch ( our place Tippy Canoe burned down....sad) and grocery shopping and then my hair got trimmed. On the way home 3 lines of freeway closed due to multi car accident. Finally arrived safely.
Watching the movie " Shadow of a Doubt" one of my all time faves.
James will come on Sunday to make an access door for the sewer pump, take two chairs to the boys and take the boys sofa to the dump. Good!

Moonie I don't think I could keep up with you lady! Always love when you do special things for yourself :). It is a real bummer about the Tippy Canoe, remember I saw it on that show and it brought me closer to you and your weekly lunches. It was gorgeous! I'm trying to place the movie.
I've so over done it. My arms are screaming at me. Definitely just paperwork tonight.
