Thank you for the fab-day wish. I am aiming for a productive day---LOL, get all three listed housework chores done! Woot!
Hope all have a good day, and if you need a laugh, imagine my huby wanting to take his exercise walk and having instead to "walk the cats"---our cat is elderly and can't get around much without us so we have to "walk" him (no leash, he just comes along) and the neighbor's cats follow too, it's like a little parade, and there's my hubby with that over-patient look like, "I am doing a nice thing. Really. Feel great about it. Yep."
Smiles,
Leo
leo, i can picture that. how nice of hubby.
i got a call from my dr while i was in the thrift store that my sodium is still low. she took me off tramadol for sleep and substituted something else which isn't working as well. so my sleep was very broken up last night. i'm keep at BP chart and i'm going to add sleep to it. i must get sleep! i didn't get my household errands done, so i'm going back downtown today for those things, but as quick a trip as possible. yesterday was fun and tiring. mostly want to rest today, so i can tackle some laundry this weekend.
wishing the best day possible to all!
Hi Leo, what a nice guy in the wild kingdom!! I use to have 3 cats...I remember one lived to be 20 and wanted to look out the window so bad, but just could not jump up, I tried little stairstep boxes first, no...then I got this old fabric suitcase filled it and leaned it against the wall/window and it worked at least for awhile. Sometimes I think cats are like
dogs..being in packs! Good Luck with the household chores...my list keeps growing. Meow!
Serenity, does your doc do the whole panel...sodium,potassium,chloride,co2? I'm a former lab tech...so I still think that way....I hope the meds/test results/get worked out/I hear you about sleep/very important or I'm in the *twilight zone*.....laundry...pfftt...a dirty word in more ways than one!!
Have a good day everyone and take time out for
chocolate/or whatever treat makes you feel better:-) :-)
Leo I can just picture your hubby walking with a cat parade LOL it has to be a sight but really sweat of him to do. I hope your productive day goes as planned don't over due I'd hate for you to be in more pain.
Serenity I so understand the sleep deprivation. My days & nights are backwards. I should be sleeping now but my three dogs decided to have a loud verbal conversation. They usually get tired again around 10:00 & sleep until late afternoon so hopefully I'll get some to. I hope you are able to sleep soon it sure takes a toll on our bodies when sleep escapes us. Here's to wishing you many hours of peaceful sleep. Since your going to be doing laundry feel free to do mine lol!
Cheesecake that is so sweet what you did for your cat. I have three stairs at the foot of my bed so my dogs can get up to the bed. My youngest one is able to jump up no problem he lands so softly it always amazes me. I hope you and Sasha have a beautiful weekend. Chocolate sounds yummy one of my biggest downfalls. I blame it on my grandma she was a chocolateaholic I get the gene from her.
I'm hoping to get to sleep here pretty soon. I passed exhausted two days ago. Too many weather changes my back, knees & tummy are all screaming. At least when sleep does come it's an escape from the pain. My hubby hurt his back last weekend helping my brother move some things into storage for my Dad. He rarely complains but he was hurting. I made him stay home on Wed & go to the Dr. Normally I wouldn't be concerned if the pain was off to either side of the spine but it was smack in the middle in the L5 - S1 area. Dr gave him norco irritated me she just gave him pain meds without even ordering an X-ray. She told him if it wasn't better by today she would order PT. He's still moving slow so I'm going to make sure he calls & gets the order for PT & push for getting an X-ray though I doubt it would show anything. I feel bad for him, but at the same time as awful as it sounds I'm kinda glad it happened he has a whole new appreciation for what I go through. I just pray he heals I don't want him to hurt like me.
I hope you all have a happy low pain, low stress weekend.
Hugs & God Bless
Lisa :)
Grammagus, I'm si glad you had mamo and thst went great , niw hope lab work comes back well.
Leo, Omg, the picture I got of your husband with all the cats in the neighborhood following just gave me a good laugh. I hope you can get your stuff done today. Good luck!
Serenity, oh honey sorry about the sleeping issues. You finally just started getting some sleep and now this. Hopefully, they can get you the right medication that will work, but not raise your sodium.
My home health aide is here, I'll be back
Love
Mary Ellen
Serenity, oh no, here comes the insomnia again. When I was spending every night, all night awake, my doctor started looking for sleep meds that would keep me asleep yet not interrupt the circadian rhythm. It took awhile but he finally tried Rozerum and I haven't had a sleepless night since. I hope you get it sorted out soon.
Leo, thanks for the visual. Funny yet endearing. Have a good day.
Grammagus, I got turned around here. For some reason, I thought Serenity started the post! Happy your mammo and labs turned out normal. Have a great day and weekend!
cheezecake, I know what you mean. I'm a retired RN and some things we never forget!
Lisa, I know how it feels to not be able to sleep. I hope your husband get's back on his feet again and I wouldn't wish my pain on my worse enemy. Maybe not so bad for him to sample what you go through every single day!
Well, I spent the morning on the patio. Not this afternoon. It was 96 yesterday and more of the same today. All this West Texas transplant has to say is thank God for air conditioning!
I have a repeat chest ct this afternoon. They found a node when I was in the hospital in Jan. The doctor said he even looked at it with the radiologist and it wasn't anything. Not a lesion, tumor, etc. I don't look forward to laying flat on my back but it's gotta be done. Sigh. I hope all here and those who follow have an awesome day.
Hugs, Dianna
I heart ya buddy and hope you're getting around ok.
Grammagus that good news keeps coming your way thank goodness! Keep it rolling in :)
Leo are you one of those cats that follow hubby? I just had to put it out here tee hee! My cat's always followed but not the whole neighborhood, too funny!
Chickpea did your doc have any explanation why your sodium is always so low? Sure wish she'd find the right formula to get our special roomie sleeping :). Hope your day doesn't wear you out too much.
Lisa hope you find that sleep too, it adds to those pain levels and the stress! Hope all is well with hubby and he gets to moving around soon.
Hi ME hope things feel a little better for you today. How many hours are you up to taking that collar off now? I'd forget my name if it wasn't on all of my bills!
CNW I hope they find answers and that ct goes quickly. They better have a pillow for those knees! CT's generally go quicker than MRI's so fingers crossed X.
I have my ultra sound today and that one is a quick one, sorry CNW wish yours was too but someone's gotta do it! I accidently fixed 4 lbs of pinto beans yesterday, yep pays to put glasses on, so I'm running some over to my mom and dad's before my test. Then Addie is coming over after school. This week has been a kick butt one and I'm ready to just lay back!
Wishes up for all in FC to keep those pain levels low,
Toni
Serenity, I hope you get all your stuff done downtiwn tods.
Lisa, hope you can get dome rest today. I'm sorry your husband hurt his back. I don't wish that pain on anyone.
Dianna, 96º , I'm coming for a visit. Lol I pray that test comes out negative when they get it back. I hate the thought of lying on my back for any tests too. It hurts too much. Praying for positive outlook.
Love you honey too!
Toni, good luck on your test today. Thank god ultrasound is a quick one. You need new glasses (Lol) 4lbs pinto beans...thankfully you hsve family close enough to bring them too.
Enjoy your time with addie today, but woman you definitely need a break and some rest after today.
Hope everyone has a low pain day
Love and hugs,
Xoxoxoxo

lisa, hope you're getting some sleep and that hubby's ok. sorta crazy she wouldn't order an x-ray.
dianna, please update when you can. they lay pillows down for me. hope all goes well. not 96 already! oh my.
toni, 4 lbs of pintos?! omg! give away, freeze....good luck with the ultrasound and have a great time with addie!
ME, glad you're showered, but geez you're like me one thing isn't enough already?! be careful with that brace off time. remember, dance party when you're ready, so go easy, gal.
i'm delaying as long as my bus pass allows to get downtown. the pollen is at dangerous levels today and i'm feeling it, too, but can't risk taking allergy pill and feeling more sluggish. i hate being all out of sorts but that's where i am today. i'll get downtown and that's it. one of those days.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful and low pain day. I'm feeling better and the weather here is beautiful and sunny.
Love and lots of hugs,
Judi
