Wow, I got a call today from a lady who identified herself as being from CPP disability (government disability like SSDI). At first I expected to hear alot of questions and conditions and what-not but she told me I was approved!! I was so excited I almost didn't remember the rest of the conversation. She just talked about back-pay from last May until now and how it will go to community services (welfare) for the time I was getting their help and to my LTD provider; which is fine, I know none of it actually comes to me. I won't even be making any more money than I am now.
The benefit is that now my LTD won't have to pay out as much as they have been and with CPPD approving me they really have no right to try to say I don't qualify or to be demanding more information after everything I have done to provide them with all the data they want. CPPD approved me with no questions asked. I filled out all the paperwork and had my doctor write a letter - that was apparently enough and I am soooooo happy about that.
It sure was nice to get good news after the busy stressful week I've had. Daughter spent another night in hospital with contractions (she is only 26 weeks pregnant) then her son, Noah, came down with hand, foot and mouth disease. Due to that his glands swelled; even those lymph nodes in his groin. They were swollen so badly that his hip hurt and he couldn't walk for 24 hrs. She had him to the hospital where they did an xray and blood work but said he was fine, just a viral infection and it will pass. He is doing better but it was a rough few days.
Besides all that I have been really busy packing which is making my pain flare quite alot. And my oldest son is looking for a place to stay and I had to say No he can't stay here right now, wait till after I move, its too hectic here. The bad part was everyone else was telling him no as well. Finally my mother, God bless her, said he could stay there. What a relief. Its been crazy and I know I haven't been here much but things will slow down once I move and I'll be able to get involved more again.

Wishes up for your Daughter's contractions to ease and settle... esp at 25 weeks.. sigh... and Hoping little "Mario" aka Noah gets over his virus shortly, poor little man...
