Grammagus, my you and Ed have been busy little bee's! It's nice your able to take your time packing. Hopefully your daughter will find a great place soon. It's nice you have the SUV available so you can get everything you need today in one trip. I'm glad you found a home for your desk. I hope you and Ed enjoy your day today.
Today's pretty much a repeat of yesterday. My ankle has settled into a small roar & tummy is a little sharper today. So I'm going to cuddle up with my three little guys and watch some movies. Hubby is taking off Thur & Fri. Yippee! Life's always better when he's around.....I'm really blessed!
I hope everyone has a day filled with warm fuzzy moments!
Love, Hugs & God Bless
Lisa
That's great news about the desk! I'm sure someone else will get great use out of it. That's okay about the sweater, no problems. I have the same problem when trying to post a song from YouTube. I can never figure it out. It sounds like you'remaking good hhead way into the packing. I'm so glad Ed is being so helpful with the packing. I think he's just as excited to move as you are. Have a good day shopping and getting the boxes you need. .
Well, my fingers are driving me crazy with this numbness. It's funny I was taking to a close cousin of mine last night, Charlie, whom I adore. You know when you're younger and you always have certain cousins that you really adore snd enjoy being with, well that's Charlie. My dad used to go to his dad's house when he took us to church on Sundays. They were very close as well. Anyway Miriam saw Charlie at the hospital yesterday when she took Michael for lab work. She told me he wasn't feeling well and I called him and was yelling at him for not letting me know he was sick.
He has a pacemaker which I knew about, but he got pneumonia after that and it almost killed him. So he's been having a rough go lately. But we were talking about always having something being wrong and being in pain from the neck down for me know and it just sucks sometimes. He said he hadn't called because everyone has their own things going on and I said you're right, but it still matters when you get sick like that. I would never want a call saying something happened to him and I didn't know.
I'm going over for dinner on Sunday if he cooks. He's an amazing cook, but I just can't wait to see him and give him a big hug.
I hope everyone has a good day with low pain.
Love and hugs,
Xoxoxo

lisa, sorry about the ankle and tummy pain. i'm glad hubby will be there with you extra days. that's uplifting. hope things get better today while you snuggle in and watch some movies. some warm, fuzzy moments to you, too!
well, my dr said to go back to 25mg seroquel if i didn't want ambien and i don't, so i'll just keep my eyes on this closely. i did sleep well. i'm still a little groggy which i hope wears off fast with the stiffness.
the work they did on the apt really makes me want to do some more organizing - after the chest of drawers get here....we're going from a high of 80 to a high of 63 today. guess we're all dealing with the bouncy ball temps.
hugs n love!!
i hope your fingers play nice today. big hugs!
I'm glad you got some sleep last night. I'm glad you finally talked to your doctor. Our weather here is about the same. 80 today, but 50's tomorrow and storms coming so I know how you're feeling. I'm glad you got your place organized as you wanted to thanks to some help, but it's done. I hope you have a great day with low pain.
Love and hugs,

I'm really struggling today! I don't know how I even made it in to work. So dumb, I should have stayed home. There is no way I will make it through the day. I can't focus at all, my pain is way too high. I should be working now but instead typing to you guys. Don't tell the boss. :)
I saw my neurologist yesterday and he discontinued the gabapentin. He didn't say to wean but I'm going to anyways. He wants to try Elavil for the neuropathy pain next; since the gaba stopped working and raising the dosage made me a zombie. I'm not a fan of antidepressants but promised I would keep an open mind and try. Anything to help this horrible pain. He also scheduled me for a skin biopsy to get a good look at the small fiber nerves. I'm waiting for the call back with a date. I could really use some prayers and positive thoughts. I'm just not coping well right now.
Sorry, running out of energy and need enough to make it home. I hate to look for support and not give any back! I will try to log in later to address everyone.
Hugs, Vicky
Prayers going up for you Vicky. I'm so sorry you're in so much pain honey. I wish you weren't at work suffering like that. Please don't apologize for anything honey. When you're in pain like you're not expected to support anyone. Just take care of you. Please let me know how that do.
Love and hugs,

i'm so groggy today i don't know what will get done.
Grammagus you call that a quiet day? I'm tired thinking of all you have planned for the day! I think you're doing the smart thing taking your time. I started packing before I put my place on the market and was sure glad I did.
Lisa I'm wrapping you in that bubble wrap oh just so right that it cushions you yet feels like a nice warm hug :), Now that has just got to last until hubby gets home to take over. So happy you both get some "us" time.
Aw ME I sure wish you'd get to feeling better. You are a fighter, but a day of feel good would be nice for you. Prayers up Charlie gets his strength growing. Your whole family seems like warriors to me, bunch of tough asses! I have a fav cousin Charlie too and always called him Sweet Pea when we were kids, he hates it now, but every once in awhile I just have to let it slip!
Serenity I think we're two peas in a pod on that grogginess! Try to move around a little bit, but don't over do. Wow I didn't know your temps were that high. It's been cool here for some time.
Darn Vicky I hope you're home by now and snuggled in and relaxing. It's hard (mixed in with stubbornness) to tell ourselves not to do something for our own protection when we just want to fit into that real world. You are right to wean off of the gaba and your doc should have told you to so errrrrr. I went thru the same thing! Hey there's nothing wrong with trying the antidepressant they can slow down pain, it's what many of these main drugs are, including gaba. Just being here strengthens the Circle my friend, never forget that.
Not sure what's up with me yet, need to go do a few things but have to see where the head is at. Yesterday I felt better, but was super dizzy all day.......so no driving. Did talk to a dear friend that strengthened me on a personal subject coming up and so thankful and blessed to have her. This room strengthens me each day and keeps me grounded too, I have much to be grateful for.
Hold on to your hats.............it's suppose to stop raining tomorrow! I hope it takes the clouds with it. I want to see blue skies and the sun shining!
Many blessings to each and everyone of you,
Toni
my schedule cleared up so ima put my pot of beans back on and relax today no dusting no laundry. the one thing ill do is take a bath later. hubby n i will catch up on some DVR'd shows. nice and easy. i want to thank you all for being so kind to eachother, its such a pleasure to know each and every one of you.
Lisa-I am with Toni in wrapping you in bubble wrap. I wish for you a moment of peace and low pain.
ME-You brought a smile and fond memories as I too had a Charlie. He was a great uncle and we shared a love for snakes, spiders and bats. I hope and pray your Charlie heals quickly. Also, I am worried about you my dear!!!
Serenity-grogginess and moving slowly today, so sorry that one more thing on your plate. I just hope you have a quiet time and regain your day.
Vicky-I was on 2700 mg of gab with no side effects but it turned out I had a brain tumor and PMR so the gab wasn't needed nor working. My doc had me slowly wean down. It did help that hubby has many patients that too had to be weaned down so I understood. You can come here and we will support you so don't give it another thought!! You are in pain and want answers. We have been there. I hope you get the answers.
Toni- HATE HATE HATE being dizzy and/or vertigo. This; pisses me off that you were dizzy all day. Good grief-a big feathered flightless bird is one scary thought. Take it easy, just repose and have some hot tea.
The float home was a very very good deal. Loved where it was BUT just cannot do anymore renovating. The moorage owner had the float home dumped into her lap as the owner had a schizoid breakdown and will not be returning to the water per his family. He had good ideas but unfortunately was dealing in a non reality state while taking down walls and putting up interesting structures. On to the next one.
Today we have a wind alert, rain alert and that means no walking the fur babies. My ulna nerve is letting me know the help I gave Mom and Dad yesterday was a little much. The pain is reminding me how thankful I am to be able to be there for them. The rest of my day is up in the air........just relaxing and thinking.
Low pain, High Love, Hugs,
Joanne
Good morning, I hope you have a wonderful day with your husband. It's nice to be able to relax and just watch some movies. You two have such a great relationship! It makes me smile when you are talking about doing things with him. You're right Erika, it is a pleasure to know each and every one of you guys.
Toni, I'm glad you are not driving right now, especially if you've been dizzy. I'm glad you're feeling better today honey and I pray it stops raining for you tomorrow. I hope you have blue sunny skies. The storms are headed my way tomorrow so I'm sure I'll be hurting like a bear by then but we'll see what the day brings. I'm just glad you're going to have sun for a change.
Love and hugs,
