I'm sorry you have reached this point. I'm hoping to hear that your doc has more info for you next time.
ME>>>just feeling sluggy. The fatigue has really set in with this weather system. Good news is that it is not as bad as it used to be for me as I at least have minimal functioning instead of none. Should pass with this system, just hope it is soon and I have a couple of days before the next one.
Don't you dare grab a cig, you've worked to hard! And I need to know it can be done.......
Could a group leader please delete it?
( Not that there's anything wrong with this group..:-) :-) ...this is just a check up I do in another group..:-)
Thanks
Hugs

This is a good place for everyone to touch base with each other on their pain levels/limitations and what is going on with each other.
I've been over doing, but I'm more capable than before. Losing more feeling in my hands though. I keep dropping more things. I will think I have something in my hand and it won't be there. Crazy! I'm very off balance too and slamming into everything. I see the neuro Wed and I'll be sure to bring these up to her and some other things.
Hugs Jan and hope all works out!
..and thought it seemed rude to come on here complaining, when I haven't been around.:-)
I do care how y'all are doing, though.
Hugs
Why does everyone worry about complaining/venting? When ds is the place we all came looking for a place to share our feelings and wanting others to understand? We all need that support.
Am I the only one that this drives crazy? Insert crossed eyes here -----
And yup, I'm wondering too what a cross-eyed ostrich looks like... lol.
Thanks for your honesty. Uplifting has its place..
It helps to know we're not alone in the not so uplifting feelings.
I've felt that way at times..and I'm sure others have.
I hope it eases for you.
Hugs
Alright..you're right, Toni...I'm glad you left it.
Sounds nasty.....one eyed tiger
On a serious note, I'm note sure about pain pumps in your area but I wonder if your close enough to go to a state that does? Or have you tried a medication rotation. When I was in the hospital the surgical nurse had said that when patients are responding to medications as well as they originally had some doctor will rotate or switch long term and breakthrough meds to different ones. Perhaps that's something you can do soon.
Also the nurse told me to add regular Tylenol to my breakthrough meds and it helps them to work more effectively. Just a couple of thoughts.
Love you JC!

I'm in Canad and my province doesn't have to doctors or facilities to do alot of medical things but we are always referred out-of-province for these procedures or treatments. Hopefully your doctor is able to do something like this. I am praying for you, take care, Love and hugs,
ssLisa
Healing hugs for all,

Never ever ever reach for something that has been given up :-)
Today has been a little lower key then I had planned as my body is telling me I have overdone somethings which does not seem possible......uh hem....because I pace. Apparently my pacing is not slow enough so must run outside to study the slugs for some lessons. Sigh. Lower back should not be this painful.
Dinner is in my electric pressure cooker. Homemade chili. Just felt the need to make cornmeal muffins therefore needed to make chili. Actually, I wanted butter and honey so then needed to provide something they could go onto which was warm and soothing to my emotions. Sometimes emotional eating can be extremely satisfying.
Off to the oven. Oven addiction and there is no 12 step program.
Hugs and Love,
Joanne
I LOVE that you're making homemade chilli because it goes with the cornmeal muffins
..which you made to have something to put butter and honey on.
