I think what got her was her own admission that she's used the "N word", not necessarily this suit. I do think it's unfair because no one's perfect and we've all said inappropriate things at times.

Her career is torched because she said a word forbidden by the PC police. This past sin was brought out after a bogus employee complaint. Don't look for the media that destroyed Deen to share all the facts.

Should she sue? I don't see a benefit for her. The media will only talk about how she once upon a time said the terrible N word and continue to ignore other facts about the case. She'd only be reliving the nightmare she just went through.

Wow I didn't either till last night! Our wonderful media....once again tweaking or just flat out omitting truths to fit their agenda. She seems to have a valid case of defamation but what will she gain from it? She can never recover what's lost. It really is a shame. I hope she planned well with what she worked for and made and leads a content life. I don't know how you move on after being burned so badly without being bitter but I hope she can find a way.
