Oh gosh - I don't know Compost- when someone abuses the hell out of me - I find it very difficult to be respectful of them. Abusive people don't deserve respect in my opinion - regardless of their position in life.

LindaJean, yes, people are people. Maybe I expect too much but I do expect just a little more from the President of the United States. Indeed, I expect him to be an exceptional person. And that includes being respectful to those who "abuse" him.

I have to ask you Compost - just how good is it for our country for people to be trying to prove that our president isn't even a citizen? What do you think that does for our image around the world?

Trump has made a fool out of himself - he's made himself a laughing stock and it's all for show. I would bet $100 that he is not going to run for president - this is all for show - he's a big mouth jackass imo - and he deserves no special treatment from Obama or anyone else. I wonder was anybody from Fox invited????? Regarding Fox I never did understand President Obama's villainifing Fox in the beginning of his presidency. It didn't do him any good nor does it to anybody else from the left as Fox's ratings prove it;

Trump was at the Fox table. All networks etc are invited, and all become fair game.

boomer - I think Fox is becoming a charachtecher of itself. They're fun for some people to watch because they operate on emotion and they pump people up. Did you that the news shows on Fox are described as talk shows rather than news? At least on my cable channel they are.

I think that says a lot about the content on Fox.

Naturally, I have noticed that Donald Trump is a loudmouth jerk. He is not dignified. But that doesn't change my hope and expectation that the POTUS is dignified.

To me Bush's jokes were just slighly more egregious than Obama's lack of decorum as you put it. Bush laughed about false information given to start a war in a country we had no right to be in. What a president!!
