One of the hardest things to do is explain my anxiety disorder to other people. I always worry that they'll think I'm a freak or just can't handle the pressure or something. I think it is important to remember that THIS IS A LEGITMATE DISORDER. It didn't come from anything you did. Like any other handicap, people should respect your problem, and I think that you will find that a lot of people will surprise you by being considerate and understanding. If you are hanging out with people who don't respect what you're going through, it's not your problem, it's theirs.
