Law enforcement has been abridging the constitutional rights---or worse yet, breaking the law---for many years now. This type of activity is nothing new, but the use of "StingRays" is relative recent.
I was taken to task on one board when I mentioned how corrupt federal law enforcement agents and detectives can be when they want to obtain a conviction and close the investigation. One person messaged me and scolded me that most federal agents are "good and decent" men. I responded with the fact that they might be nice to play ping pong with or duck hunt with, but once they put that uniform on and go to work, they are all about convictions and do not care how they get them.
An interesting note with the use of these StingRays is the use of what is called "parallel construction" in an investigation, which is really only a bunch of lies and untruths meant to mask the fact the they are violating the constitution.
In parallel construction, law enforcement will gather some evidence by means of an illegal action or by using some unconstitutional means. They cannot admit that that is the method they used to obtain the evidence, so they concoct a phony story about how the evidence was obtained in a legal sense. They will insist the illegal evidence was obtained through an informant yet never reveal the informant, because, after all, there never was an informant. They don't use the informant excuse all the time, but the reason they give is always bogus.

They use evidence they collected illegally, but insist that it was collected in a legal manner by making up a false story about how it was collected in a legal manner.
This practice has been used for years by the DEA, a branch of law enforcement so powerful that the government cannot even reign it in. I personally have read several cases in which it was obvious this had occurred.

Which explains the mysterious fevers and my extra fatigue. I'm so glad I pushed for answers.

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

I found this working in a forensic mental health facility as well... Groups/gangs of workers would team together to show who was boss....who was in charge and make up stories when all hell broke loose... They lied when charting about a patients behaviour
I think in lines of business where there are imbalances of power and control very frequent in service meetings on ethics/morals need to take place... People need to be reminded on a regular basis what is right and what isn't... I'm sure that this wouldn't always work but perhaps in some cases putting a mirror in front of oneself might help...sigh... Sad/pathetic R...x
Put people/cops on the streets. Have them live in the area that they're enforcing. ................. When the people you're policing are REAL people to you...you're less inclined to lie about them. And again, when you have to live in the area afterwards....you're less inclined to do something you're ashamed of.
****The most....absolutely MOST, honest group of people I was ever around. Were the flea market people I saw week, after week, after week. People would give back wrong change from the week before. I'd return things from the week before. It was a community. Some of the people were actually very well off, and some just scraping by.....didn't matter. The repeat venders/ shoppers were amazingly honest. People looked out for each other.
The vendors I'd never seen before.....those were always more suspect to me. I'd spend less on their items, because I never knew if the stuff would fall apart as soon as I got it home. ****
A friend told me what happened when I had two LEOs at the front door...for a conversation on facebook ...that was supposed to be private. One LEO used his list of people he wanted put in jail, in mental ward, to follow through a "suicide" check up ..., and only AFTER several witnesses were able to prove, beyond a reasonable doubt in public media did the situation get managed. In the meantime, several families were harassed by the LEO, their feeling of safety with LEO lost, and yes, the LEO is still on active roster...so, caution with communication technology, any person can lose sight of the reason we have law enforcement and bend to breaking the line of ethical investigation.
Law enforcement wants to talk to only three groups of people----1) witnesses TO a crime, 2) Victims OF a crime, and 3) suspects who they think have committed a crime.
They never really ever request to talk to any other groups of people except these three groups.
You know if you are a victim of a crime or a witness to a crime. If you are neither one of those, you can bet you are a suspect.
In that case, never speak to law enforcement. There is nothing you can say that will help your case. Everything you say, no matter how innocent sounding to you----will be twisted to make you look guilty.
You are under no obligation to speak to law enforcement except to identify yourself.
Don't fall for their tactics such as-----
"We want to help you get this situation straightened out and we want to help." All they want to do is send you to prison and they want you to make it easier by opening your mouth. Keep it shut.
"The DA will give you a much better deal if you just tell us why you did this, if you cooperate." No, the DA will not. The cops have no influence on the DA. They are doing nothing but lying and they know it.
"You're not a suspect - just help us understand what happened here and then you can go." You ARE a suspect or they would not be talking to you.
The cops will tell you that they have all the evidence they need to convict you and that if you "take responsibility" and confess the judge will be impressed by your honesty and go easy on you. What they really mean is: "we don't have enough evidence yet, please confess."
They also play the "good cop, bad cop" game. One of the officers acts like an ass and they other seems to be your friend. You are so glad to not have to talk to the tyrant officer that you are more likely to spill the beans to Mr. Nice Cop.
Don't fall for that routine.
"We just want to hear your side of the story." Lie.
Many people fear if they don't say something in their defense that the police will think they are guilty and the cops will think bad of the. If you are already there with a cop in your face, they ALREADY do not like you, and the ALREADY feel you are guilty. They just want to seal the deal by making you talk.
Some people think that if they tell their story that the cops will believe them and be easy on them. Police are not judges. They do not weigh the evidence for or against a suspect. At this point, they are not there to play the role of a judge. This is another lie by policeman.
Many people say to me, "I would not know what to say to a cop if he wanted to question me regarding a crime." Simple---say these magic words. Officer, am I being detained? If he says "no" then get up and leave. If he says "yes" then here is the magic words----"I DO NOT TALK TO LAW ENFORCEMENT WITHOUT MY ATTORNEY PRESTENT. I WANT TO TALK TO MY ATTORNEY."
Simple as that. Memorize that phrase.
The Fifth Amendment to the United States Constitution is there for a reason. USE IT!!!!!!!!!!!
Many people have talked their way into prison, even innocent people.
Just be careful. They are not your friends.
