For people and families who have tasted or advocate against the horrors of injustice
This is one of the very few times I have seen in which a prosecutor is punished for prosecutorial misconduct.
I only wish the 10 days in jail would have been 10 years in prison, but at least this low life lost his license to practice law.
And who would have ever thought Texas would be the state to finally hold a prosecutor accountable.
I have to tell you folks, the Almighty will have to build an entire extra wing in the "auditorium of hell" to hold all these prosecutors and law enforcement people for all the innocent men and women they have sent to prison.

Once again I've had a fever today. I'm not going to the hospital because that's a huge waste of time but I did schedule a dr appointment for Wednesday afternoon.
There are things that I can't say openly on here that I would like to however I know that prosecutorial misconduct goes on all of the time... It's awful and these people seldom pay for their 'crimes'..
I was told by an advocate group that they'd never seen worse prosecutorial misconduct then on a case I've been a supporter of
Harry Connick was a nightmare in New Orleans... So many things go unchecked... .When ever a wrongful conviction is overturned those who were involved in bringing the case forward should be checked and all of their behaviour in the investigation and prosecution should be investigated well... Perhaps if people felt accountable they would behave differently
Some of the cases that have been televised in some ways become circus like however the misconduct doesn't go on... I think that all trials should be videoed now in order to be able to go back and examine the trial
The loss of his law license, the loss of the judge position, the loss of the legal community public support ... all mean something, yet in reality, he's still standing free...unlike those who suffered from his misconduct.
I hear you, sun, video, independent video, works to minimize trial misconduct.
Misconduct...often begets more misconduct...and in the end, no one wins. Everyone loses.
Lawyers are very afraid to peeve off sitting judges.... I know of a crown that committed terrible prosecutorial misconduct however then rose to a political position and although defense attorneys wanted to cry foul they were afraid of the possible backlash for clients... It could have come back to bite them big time
