Cop Mistakes Gun for Taser----Kills Unarmed Man
rewdiazepam
Another day, another case of police misconduct.
To give you a recap of this entire sordid incident, this 73 year old retired insurance executive was given a place on the sheriff's force in Tulsa to help with stings such as violent crime stings. Nothing like being retired and able to play cops and robbers with the big boys.
The incident in question occurred because Deputy Dawg here got confused which weapon was his stun gun and which weapon was his firearm; he meant to use the taser on the guy but got confused and shot him in the back, when he was down, with his gun instead. Of course, the suspect died before the ambulance could get him to the hospital.
By the way, the suspect was black, running away, and unarmed----not that that made any difference to the officers.
Now it appears this 73 year old "pretend cop" had donated large amounts of money to the sheriff's re-election campaign. Nice.
After they shot the guy in the back, the deputies continued to manhandle him and push his face into the cement while telling him to "Shut the f*ck up," and "F*ck your breathing" when he was dying. Classy.
Nothing like adding a little class to this story by more mistreatment while the suspect's life is ebbing away.
The latest story in this entire debacle is that the deputies claim they did not hear the gunshot, so they continued to subdue the man. The gun went off not three feet from them and the reserve cop exclaimed, "Oh, I shot him. I am sorry," and they want us to believe they did not hear the gun.

But not to be discouraged, he was charged with second degree manslaughter. I am sure we will see heaps of justice done here.
God bless America.

Woke up feeling very emotional and about to clock in at my place of employment. And can't place it all in writing but not been a good experience with my store manager or his boss. Defamation of my character is a concern. I've been losing appetite and weight. Trying to perform at work to keep myself from hospitalization as a result of toxic masculinity.

The charge shouldn't be second degree manslaughter .. He was reckless and he had no business having weapons.. He's an insurance salesman
This good ol' boys club O'ding on testosterone is really frightening... Racism really is still rampant is seems
