Children on the Sex Offender Registry
rewdiazepam
In keeping with our discussion of juveniles being charged as adults or juveniles when they commit a felony, here is a link that will make you wonder what in the hell is wrong with this country----------

The article really hits home with this passage ----"for example, in Delaware in 2011, there were approximately 639 children on the sex offender registry, 55 of whom were under the age of 12."
Eleven year olds on the sex offender registry? Are we insane?

Due to my increased paranoia, anxiety, and a panic attack over the weekend, my psychiatrist has put me back in a full dose of Zyprexa until further notice. Every time I think I'm getting ahead something happens and it's back to square one. I knew he was gonna do this but I can't help feeling disappointed. It is what it is.

I enjoyed...

People are so quick to want to judge what is normal for children now a days it seems...
I saw a woman on Dr Phil (who I have a love/hate relationship with) who told her doctor that she felt some stimulation when she was breast feeding her baby... Normal feelings... The next thing she knew CPS was taking away her children...
I think at one time a lot of things were ignored and that was no good... People were terribly hurt and some of these mistakes needed to be rectified ... Such as child sexual abuse or trying a victim for their rape by trying to tarnish their character however the pendulum has now swung to the other extreme... Making sense out of nonsense...xo
If I understand the lesson, our distrust(s) of doctors are possible on several fronts. Nerve problems, seen by some family doctors, can get blown out of proportions. There is competency (vs inept). And finally, as in this case, an md may be afraid of sex. So ya' trust a doc only at points where it seems safe to.
I might guess the dr here had fantasies about re the' mother, extra.
Women, don't get taken advantage of by male authority figures. . --And sometimes when dealing w the Big Brother sorts of ppl with their disarming smile(s)... make sure y'r words about children are normal and that your words fit the mold.
You said it well S.Cloud about the pendulum. . . . . Caleb; . best to everyone
Thank goodness I had an understanding police department when my child would remove his swimming trunks to swim outside in the kiddy pool in our yard. The yard was fenced in, I had towels everywhere on the fence, and you had to look over the fence and down to see him. He was a toddler and out of diapers due to a nasty diaper rash, so the doctor thankfully wrote a note that he could be outside in the yard bare assed naked. It worked. However, I remember the nasty comments made to me, and all I could do was smile, because my child's health comes first.
Here's to finding a happy medium in our hearts to keep our senses normal, because otherwise, the " blown out of proportion" level goes way out of bounds.
