Well I finally got that dang letter from my insurance company. Its been 9 months since they cut me off and I had to call and threaten to get a lawyer before they would send it.. Now i'm going nuts with anxiety. I have 30 days to appeal and the holidays are coming up in that 30 days.

I contacted a law firm today, one that specializes in injury and disability claims. They only take a fee if they win, nothing if you lose so that works for me. I'm just not sure how much of a cut they take yet. They seem to understand chronic pain and all the effects like cognitive difficulties, anxiety and depression that go with it. I hope they are as good as they seem.

I feel like there are so many things I need to do now and in such a short time frame. I have an appointment with my pm doc on the 17th so that's good. He already said he'd right a letter for me. And our local member of parliament also offered help. I'm going to drop into his office tomorrow and see if I can talk to his assistant. She is supposed to help me fill out my CPP disability forms too.

My pain jumped a couple of levels today and I"m nauseous. My heart is racing too.... I feel like crap but I know its just anxiety. I think its because when I was just waiting for this letter I couldn't do anything so I could forget about it... now I'm forced to deal with it. I just want to go to sleep until its over.

Oh and to top it off they sent a copy of the letter to my employer. When they get it they will have to cancel my other insurance plan as it is dependent on me being on disability. It could also mean my job could be terminated.. I don't know for sure but I emailed HR to find out. I'm not sure I want to know really.
