Ohhh, I wouldn't count on working the next day, I was real sore for the first 2 days after. But then again it depends on how hard you have to work I guess.
I'm sure glad you can put the date down at last.

Just remembered, you'll have a list of restrictions during the trial that may make it imposible to work. I'd find those out and then decide if you want to go to work or not.

Hmmmmm, well my trial was not painful at all, and the next day I walked a mile! The experience is different for each person, so maybe is best to take at least a couple of days off, just to make sure that everything is OK. What brand are you getting? If the trial goes well, and you decide to do the permanent one, make sure that you get the plate and paddles, because the other leads can just migrate way too much, and this is how most people get the problems that the get with the SCS.

May the 3rd! Party day! I am so happy for you David that you finally get to do this. I have never done this, but if it was me I would plan on taking a day or two off. Be on the safe side. Hey if you feel alright you have a couple of days off to enjoy it.

It will be Boston Scientific. I do want to go with the paddle leads. My PM also talked about additional leads to take care of the axial pain in my upper back/shoulder area. I can't wait. This TENS every day is getting real old.

If the trial works and I get the implant, I'd like to keep the TENS. It's actually a neuro muscular stimulator that has symmetrical and asymmetrical impulses.

David, I was told not to use the TENS with the implant because it could mess up the programing. You might want to look into that.

Mine is a Boston Scientific/Precision model, and that was the one were I had my leads dislodge, so if I was you, I would go right of the bat with the plate and paddles, that way you don't go through the pain that I did when my leads when nuts and wrapped around my battery.
