Hey there, the room seems to be really quiet lately and I confess I haven't been here much myself so I haven't been helping. I know this time of year alot of people start getting outside more and spend less time on the internet. That's not the case with me. I have been struggling physically and mentally the last little while.
Since starting the new physio treatments I am in more pain more of the time than I ever was before. I have talked to the pt about it but he says it will start getting better in time. Today he couldn't even do the exercises he wanted to cause I was in too much pain; ended up just doing ultrasound and electrical stimulation. I had a massage last Friday which was interesting and mostly good but it did hurt alot. He said I am very tight and have alot of knotted muscles in my back, hips, thighs, neck and shoulders. He wants to see me 4-5 weeks in a row but he's booked for the month so I can't start that until the end of June. I spend so much time in pain and unable to do much of anything that I get discouraged and depressed. I'm taking an antidepressant but some days it just doesn't cut it.
Besides the pain I am still waiting for my benefits to get straightened out and get some money flowing again. It has been over 3 months since my last check came in and not having money isn't helping with the depression either. Bf is keeping me going but I think it is stressing him alot too, which I can understand. I've been feeling lately like he's upset with me but he won't say anything cause he knows there is nothing I can do. I end up losing myself in my drawing, its my stress relief these days and takes my mind off things but it also shuts everyone else out.
My apartment is a disaster since my son left. We just got his room cleaned out last week; well should say bf got it cleaned out. I'm planning to move into that room and make my room into a studio for me to do my artwork and set up my sewing machine so things are kind of in limbo right now. My hallway is lined with boxes and my living room looks like something off the hoarders show... that doesn't help my mood either so I end up spending all my waking hours at bf's apartment.
On the bright side I got a new cat a few days ago. My daughter moved into a new apartment closer to me (only an hour away) but she wasn't allowed to bring her kitten. He is pure black and about 6 months old. His name is Tazz and he is an awesome little cat. Bf's kids love him and he has fit in perfectly already. He got out on me a couple times but hasn't gone far so I might trust him to go outside now and then. I do like having a cat and Tazz likes to curl up in bed with me so I'm happy about that.
Well that's what is going on with me. Sorry I haven't been around much but hopefully now that I've broken the ice again I'll get back into the swing of things. Take care, hugs

I wish things weren't so hard on you and that you were feeling better. I so hope after all this hard work that the payoff is a goodone.
Oh little Tazz sounds adorable. I love when my doggies snuggle up with me in bed.
