I am just so happy for you.... for some relief.
I had one but it didn't work out for me. I wore mine for 15 min. every 2 hrs. If it helps you to
wear it all the time without any aggravation go for it. I've known ppl that have done this, that shut it off for 15-20 mins every hr. The one to ask would be your PT.
Gentle happy hugs!!!!
I'm doing a happy dance for you! Your a trooper and deserve some good news and relife!
big hugs
When I use my tens...it was while I was laying down watching tv in my bed. I would leave it on for a few hours during the evening. It helped me relax more and sleep better.
One of the bad things for me is a TENS unit is more sucessful on nerve pain. I have a lot of that but, I also have deep bone and joint pain too due to the arthritis and the DDD/DJD. Regardless...I was always happy to get some relief which is better than none!
HUGS to you !!

I always had problems with the electrodes. My PT said just to make an X with them around the area the pain is centered at. I never had a problem with the placement, just getting them to stay. When they start not sticking well just gently wash them with cold water and lay them out to dry. That'll extend their life a little but their never as good as when you use them for the first time.
Probably every PT will tell you something different. It's been awhile but I think mine said to use it for 20 or 30 minutes and then turn it off for 20 or 30 minutes. I was advised not to leave it on all the time but I can't remember the exact reason for that.
I hope that helps a little. For me in the end it wasn't enough to help me much and sometimes it agrivated things more. It's a sweet unit though, and my wife uses it now from time to time.
I'm glad you're seeing some benifit with it,
Mike
I'm glad you're getting relief with your TENS. I used mine daily for a number of months until I got my SCS implant. I ran that thing constantly. I was told to run it for maybe 30-60 minutes and then take a break, and then run it again.
Best wishes,
Hugs,
David.
Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions? I'd pay extra for hypo-allergenic pads if I could find them.
