I think we'd all enjoy a slow fizzle! It sounds as exciting as my life these days. The rainy weather coupled with weaning from one of my meds, has made me hurt terribly.

I don't know why I worry about how the weather will make me feel, actually. It's no different than depression...I can also feel like the bottom of the barrel on sunny day.

Yikes, didn't mean to be such a downer, but I guess that's how I'm feeling, right now. Yesterday was my birthday and I was home all day. Rain and pain was the theme of the day.

I love the fizzle slowing out. The long thread has an advantage of history. Even history from some who are no longer here. I guess it is hard for me to let go. That is why I like the slow fizzel.

I was the lead singer in a band when was barely 15 and we did a variety of musical styles. The token country songs I had to sing weren't my favorites, but had to please the crowd! I wrote a lot of the material and decided that I should try...try to write a country song

Fizzle. I like our daily news thread alot! Just don't let the whole concept fizzle out.

The only thing I have to say about the "Hello are you Here" that has given me a little concern is that is it holding anyone back from posting? Everyone still has to keep those posts a coming!

I was a member on another site. They had an ongoing thread similar to what we are discussing. It was called ''The Porch' or something close.....the thread went to 20 posts then the person coming in at appx. 21 would start a new thread. For example....We could call this ongoing thread something like 'David's Place'....yeah that is kinda dumb but it's 5am!! Back to Davids Place....post as you wish, if you happen to be coming in on 20 you could post and then start a new thread...titled Davids Place # 2. Or whoever sees that a new thread needs to be started could start it. They kept each thread open so those that have been sick or busy....what have you.....can come in a catch up by skimming the older threads. It really is a great way to keep up with what's going on with your friends.

I think we should let them fizzle out that way if some one does not come on very often they can read and catch up a bit.

I think a weekly topic that we check in every day if you can is great. I love them we do them in another group I am in and I have been in that group for at least a year and they were doing it before that and we do it everyday.

What are you going to name it so we know it should be the same beginning like daily check in for the week of ..... or daily roll for the week of ..... something so we know exactly what it is when we see it.
