Early today, and Im at school...a long one as I have to go round the deputy heads house after to do some planning with her so I guess I wont be back until late evening (joy) but ah well. My phd meeting went well and Ive discovered the different ways to do it...guna try and apply for scholarships/job ways into it otherwise I wont be able to afford it. My leg today is awful...feels like its been broken, churned up and set on fire, I cant quite figure out where my ankle is as it feels like its snapped in half. Im sure itll pass, Im busy today so itll take my mind off it hopefully.
Hope you all have a good day...big hugs and squeezes xxx
Lisa, your so right about laughing! We do a lot of that around here, I bet you do to with Noah!!
Well it's hubby's turn to see a surgeon. He has an apt today with a general surgeon for a hernia. He had it repaired a couple of years ago, but he did not do what he was sopossed to do and it came back. I was hoping he would wait till summer but he wants to do it now. Kinda freaked out about that being that that will leave everything on me for a while, but I will get through it. He does NOT handle pain well at all (go figure!!) so this should be interesting.
So with the dr apt for hubby, 3 hrs of dance for Maddy, and house church after....going to be a loooong day.
Have a good one everyone!!
Autumn
Kate, glad to see that you are getting some thoughts and movement in order to help you continue on in school. I remember a few times when my financial aid got loopy or something else went wrong and it was making it difficult to go to school. I always went full time and I worked a minimum of 20 hours/week the entire 5 years. It was hard but, well worth it.
Autumn, isn't it funny how our spouses are sometimes the biggest weenies when it comes to pain or getting sick??? I used to get so frustrated with the kids' dad...when he was sick --you would have thought the world was going to end!! Big baby!! I hope you have enough in you to make it through your day. Hold steady my friend.
ME>>>I hope to lay in bed all day. I really tore myself up the last couple of days and, especially yesterday. I may force myself out of the house in order to get a pedicure but, I may not. Right now...laying in bed, lots of yummy coffee, meds are down the hatch and should be kickin in soon. My love and prayers and support to you all today!!
I have been up a few hours and about to get ready for my plan
to make a pot of seafood gumbo.
my little niece is coming tomorrow and about 4 of us will get together to eat and visit.
I don't want to type too much this am but wanted to at least say hello to my friends.
I am sending thoughts and prayers for this room and those in it and for their families.
There is only one you so take of YOU and do what you can and try not to sweat the rest...
Hugs and love to you all.
Another quiet day for me. Nothing planned, just the daily stuff. I washed my hair this morning and this may sound weird but it's always a battle for me. This morning however, it hurt my back much less than usual so I'm happy. I feel small improvements like that and I feel hopeful for recovery.
I wish everyone a good day with low low pain,
Ama
will ck in later if I can.
Hugs

On the upswing here. Knocking on wood though, as a weather change with cold and rain is coming through. I am just going to go with it and get some stuff done!
I have my next Neuro appointment in Nashville tomorrow. It is odd actually looking forward to a doctor's appointment...LOL! Hopefully all the test results will be in and I will know more and which direction to head from here.
Have a great day! Sending hugs, love, and comfort.
