And good night....
I had a great, even though it was long, day.
Church was an enormous blessing and also refreshing.
I came home and ate and then went to my husband's gig. They were having a pot luck superbowl party. We drove separate as I went by the store to get something. I bought my son a subway and took it to him at work and then headed to the lodge. I just made a loop.
I came home earlier than I expected as my daughter locked herself out of the house. It was fine as I was tired. Have PT and exercise in am and then do my volunteer job at the church. A women's gathering tomorrow evening. Got two Bible Studies to work on this week.
My girlfriend and her husband made it safely to Arizona and are sleeping in their new home for the first time ever.
I know that there are many amongst us who are struggling with mahor health issues and issues in their personal lives. Lets support our friends with our hugs and kind, encouraging words of hope and love.
Happy Monday....hope everyone's pain is st a moderate level or lower. Thinking of you all,
Melinda
I started my day at 3:30...an hour later than yesterday so I'm ok with it. It's been an hour and my fingers still aren't ready for even my 2 finger typing, but I'm in slightly better shape than yesterday. It's too soon to tell what kind of day it will be, but at least I'm not doing any hair!
After messing around with a mouse that was getting way to comfortable in my house for a few days, my cat finally did her job during the evening. My roomie was at the local bar for a superbowl party with his buddies so I had to buck up and take care of the removal! I really didn't need that!
Wishing everyone a comfortable, mouse free day!
Cherry
JC>>we all have those quick and easy days!
Melinda>>you sound busy, but happy. Have a good rest and see you later!
Cherry>>Glad your fur baby stepped it up! Sorry roomie wasn't there to deal with it. Before we moved a few years back, we had mice in our old place, and Simba would have so much fun chasing them. He would be very intense about it. One time, so intense that as he went for one....he slammed head on with the washing machine as the mouse scurried under it. He shook his head and was wobbly when he tried to walk. Funny thing is he kept doing it. Every time I had the bang, I knew that mouse was laughing at him.
ME>>>Just trying to get through right now. Missing balance as a flare has taken over. DH is stressed and K is acting out. I need to be functioning. Fake it 'til I make it! Just keep swimming. That's what I tell myself anyway. I usually hide in my shell at these times. Trying not to do that.
Hope everyone has a good day! Sending hugs, love, and comfort.
Tonna
My leg is in a flare also Tonna know how that goes, it puts a kink into the day. I am just trying to limp along and get through as I have so much to do cant just stop today.
Watched the game, who didnt got to tell you a secret I just like to see the commercials and watch the half time show as I am not a big football fan.
Got alot to do today have a babyshower I am doing in early March and I said I would help out and now I think I am doing most of it. Got to get the favors all put together. Wish me luck
Hope everyone has a great day
As for me, Maddy was still not feeling great yesterday so she she couldn't go to church and she wanted her sissy to stay home and take care of her. At first I was kinda hurt, but then I realized how sweet that is and how much she depends on and loves her big sister. They are 9 and 16 and are sooo close. I know God made it that way. Also I think it was God's way of getting me out of the house and out of my funk. It was nice going with hubby and the message of the sermon....courage! So spoke to my heart. On friday they are having dinner and movie night at our church and showing the movie Courageous. I am really looking forward to that. My older daughter is going to watch the younger one so hubbby and I can go together. Nice to have something to look forward to!
I am slowly starting to feel normal and sleep better. (well whatever normal is for me!! LOL!) The nice thing about getting off the fentanyl is I am not so sleepy during the day anymore. I do feel more pain, but it is not something I can't handle.
Have a great Monday everyone!
Autumn
Lisa
I'm actually feeling better today. Don't think the stone has passed as I still have pressure on my bladder but that awful, grinding pain has stopped for awhile.
I had great news this morning. For those who are newer here, from last May through August, I did a Clinical Trial to treat Hepititis C. It was a harsh Tx but not as harsh as the old standard of care. And it was successful, so far. I got my lab report from my 6 mo. follow-up and the virus is still "not detectable". At 6 months, they consider you've had a Sustained Viral Response and chances of the virus returning are low. Hurrah! Will still have several more follow-ups and, like cancer, not considered "cured" for 2-5 yrs. Not sure which as it varies from Doc to Doc.
The pups had a better morning too. Pooh was normal for the first times in days. I'm so relieved and pray it stays that way. They are so WILD now. Really need more to go to foster/adopt homes. They bark and whine for attention constantly. We actually put a boom box and are playing a Beatles CD for them and it does calm them a bit. They, at least, have good taste in music. If they liked Heavy Metal,I'd slit my throat.LOL
So thanks, dear friend for all your well-wishes.

hugs to all xxx
i am praying for good for this day for everyone. you are wrapped in my thoughts and prayers and hugs too.
we are getting more settled and feeling more at home. we love it here
the baclofen has been like a miracle for me. my pain level is not as great as it was for the past 8 years.
i am so thankful for this. oh i just can't get over how it has given me some semblance of my life back.
having some control is immensely helpful.
oh i still hurt good and proper, but the flares just don't last for months on end........
and this move proved it.
the move and getting all the huge things out of the way has made p calmer and happier....like a weight is off him. he had so much on him for this last year.
i will be seeing you all around today................
hugs and love and good for all
My love and hugs to all...we all seem to be in a flare or crisis or both or more. I am just keeping you all in my prayers and sending my comforting support.
ME>>> I think this is the last day of hell in Portland. We had a second hand fridge delivered this morning and, my little duck gets a new bed today...So, needless to say there has been lots of cleaning and getting ready for these things to be delivered. My mom has surgery today...in 1 & 1/2 hours. I also have to get prescriptions today and go to the grocery store today because we have not shopped preparing for the new fridge.
To be honest, right now I am wearing my happy face--covering the pain and tiredness. I am going to get through the day and know that tomorrow will be better.
HUGS and LOVE
I seem to be having a bit of a flare up today and i don't know why. Didn't do anything specially difficult and the weather is warmer (but damper). I just never know. Weird. But I'm still in a pretty good mood even though the skies are grey. I'm feeling spring coming and I intend to be better once the snow melts so that I can at least go for walks by then. That's the long term plan. Short term is just getting things done that need doing.
Tale care and enjoy the rest of the day!
Ama
So glad to see you all here. I am getting along pretty well. Busy at work.
Wishing you all the best!!
Big Hugs,
David.
