I dont know what happened last night but I awoke with such a start and my foot felt like someone punched it and it was blinding pain but went away a few minutes later so weird. I dont know how I could of hit it on something there is nothing to hit it on. It seems I am going backwards on getting better and the foot is getting worse everyday then getting better
I tried to stay off it all day yesterday but still not helping.
I downloaded a book to my kindle yesterday it has been so long since I sat and just read a book it was nice. I am a huge book reader but goes through fazes where I read every day to nothing for a while.
Hope everyone has a great
day
Manny, what book did you get? I love to read too:)
I'm am so exhausted. I have been running kids here and there all week, putting up the tree and other decorations and just ...lots of stuff and it is taking it's toll big time. Today I am off to make soap deliveries and pick up some deer meat we had processed. I'm so tired I could cry, feel like I can barely lift my arms:( Pain is rising too of course.
TGIF everyone!
I didn't do anything but sleep on and off all day yesterday.
It's real cold here this morning but at least the wind is calm so far. We didn't get any snow but I'm not as disapointed as the kids.
Even after dozing the day away yesterday I was able to sleep all night for a change. I feel rested but I can't say I feel spunky.
You know I just picked up a new book too and have been reading as well. It's a good way to spend the time when it's cold outside. Mine's a true crime book by Ann Rule. She's one of my favorites and the books of hers I don't have are on my Christmas list.
It should be a nice peaceful day here and I plan on enjoying it. It feels good to not be dragging from no sleep.
Joy and I are going shopping tomorrow so I'm resting up for that. I'm not as fired up about it as she is but that's no surprise. We'll get to have a nice lunch out by ourselves and that's probably the biggest thing for me. My sister taught her long ago if you want to take me shopping it's best to feed me and get a few drinks in me first. Ha ha ha!
Victor won a shirt at last nights game for making a shot in front of the crowd, he was real pleased and said everyone went nuts. He was pretty proud to wear it this morning.
I don't think it's going to get out of the 30s today so I'm just going to stay in probably. I've got a video game that's calling out to me.
I seem to have beat the crud so I'm happy about that. I was afraid it would turn into bronchitis or something.
My back seems OK this morning and my stimulator has been cranked for the last few days so I'll try not to do anything to hurt myself today. That finger on my left hand is still throbbing, I wish I knew what I did to that.
I had a hard time getting up this morning even after all the sleep I cought up on, but I did manage to get everyone out of here pretty smooth.
I hope you all have a great Friday and aren't hurting to bad,
Mike
Cherry, it is ok if you start the thread...whoever wants to. I am sorry you are hurting so much today. I hate to see you force yourself through another morning but, I am hoping that the weekend brigns much rest to you and your body.
Manny, I wonder if your foot is just going through a "moment" Sometimes, for no reason, a part of me is the worst it has ever been. It usually last a few hours to sometimes a few days and, then it works itself out. I will send you lots of support and prayer for relief.
Dixienme, delivering your soap..how fun. I am glad that everything seems to have turned out well for you. Deer meat on the other hand....Nay Nay. I grew up in northern Idaho, up by Canada...I have tasted it all and, the only thing I can say that I liked was venison and buffalo jerky, quail and, of course, fresh garden bounties and farm eggs.
Mike, shopping! The devil's torture right? I LOVE to shop if I have the money and, I can do it from my scooter. Other than that...I will leave itup to the professionals. I am gald that you and the wife get to spend some quality time together tomorrow--that will make the whole day worth it. My love and support to you and yours.
ME>>>>a little shopping today and, home. No where else, nothing else, no thank you. Resting, sleeping, resting, sleeping that is the plan for today.
HUGS my friends.
Had a very restless night. I would sleep for maybe and hour and then I couldn't get back to sleep. Just alot on my mind lately. My body says sleep, but my brain says no way! Very tired, hopefully will try to go back to sleep for at least a couple of hours. Yea, right, lol We are all fogged in this morning and it is a brrrrrr morning.
Cherry-Have a good Friday,sis...I know how much you are hurting and having to do hair dosn't help at all. I hope you can get a little rest between clients. Take care, my dear friend. :)
Manny-I LOVE to read also;especially in the winter. I have a kindle on my Christmas list. I've been a good girl this year, so I hope Santa brings me one. I hope you have a restful day reading your book. I love to read anything I can get my hands on.
Dixie-So sorry you are so tired and not getting good sleep. Seems to be a problem for most of us. This time of year is so stressful also. I didn't put up my tree this year, but just got a mini one and put it on my TV so I can see it. just can't do the big Christmas things I used to. I miss baking the most. I hope you have a good day, Dixie and maybe you can sneak a little nap in sometime today.
Mike-Hello sweetheart-so glad to hear from you. I've been MIA for a few weeks, just not really "here", you know the feeling. Have fun shopping tomorrow, the lunchtime with your wife will be nice. Its' always good to get some "together" time when you have children.
I bet Victor was soo excited to get his jersey last night.how exciting for him!
Have a wonderful day and I'm so happy you are finally sleeping.
I'm just going to take it easy this morning. Had some company yesterday who stayed until about 9:00 last night. So good to see my friends, but it threw my routine right out the door with them, lol I was so tired when they left, I didn't even clean up the kitchen before I went to bed. All
I heard in my mind was my Mother saying,'Always make sure when you go to bed that your house is picked up and clean, just in case something happens during the night and the firemen or policemen have to come into your house. LOL I am not kidding, she has all these "words of wisdom" LOl Who cares if the firemen or policemen come into your house, do you really think they are gonna care what your house looks like?
I guess its'kind of under the category of 'always make sure you have clean underwear on in case you have to go to the hospital for something" Okkkkk...MOM= such fun growing up with an italian Mom. I should write a book about all her quirks, lol.
I thought it was just my Mother, but her sister is the same way! LOL
Every day with my Mom is fun-you never know what she is going to say.
Have a good Friday everyone and remember to wear your clean underwear today....just in case,LOL
Love and gentle hugs to everyone!

I love reading too. The kids got me a Nook last year and top me off with gift cards from time to time. Currently I am reading from the less than $5 list - The Crimson Petal and the White. It's about London's divide between the Middle Class and the poor. It's something to pass the time and has a lot of pages. Anyone else with a Nook? I have some books I can Lend out, mostly silly ones and paranormal "novels" but like I said, they pass the time.
Manny, I am glad the pain was only momentary.
Cherry, I hope you get a chance to rest this afternoon.
Dixie, my you are busy. Don't forget to take care of you too.
Mike, resting is on my agenda for today too. I am trying to do a bit of online shopping done. Give Victor a high five for me.
Ducky, I ordered a new Magic Jack today and hope to have it by early next week, I will be extra careful with this one.
Well, I need to get back into bed and see what shopping/browsing I can do from there, then another nap is planned.
Hugs to all,
Barbara
It was doing one more haircut after an hour break, that finished me off.....owowowowow. I'm going try very hard to hide this from my Sister who is coming for a haircut in a few minutes. If she can tell how bad it hurts, she won't let me do it! She runs errands, cooks stuff and does a million other things to make my life easier...and she's getting her darned hair cut!!!
Anyway...I doubt I'll be able to type much for the rest of the day so I just wanted to alert any potential chatters! I'll try and, who knows, maybe I'll recover enough!
MK...my Mother told us to always wear nice undies in case we were in an accident! WTH?

as for me, just getting my ducks in a row to move. getting read to head out to look at apartments. i found a few cheap ones down town and i just wanna go make sure they arent in the meth infested part of town. theres the cheap part of town with alot of single mothers and old retired ladys which is where i wanna live then there's the part of town with all the meth labs so i gotta make sure i get the right place since im new here LOL
at first i was pissed that i had to move again but im actually getting excited now. i wont be in the boonies anymore, i can get a better job that dosn't take a toll on my body and pays more, a better daycare for my kid and the school is right down the street from the apartments and i wont have a 6ft wall of snow to dig myself out of everyday if i need to go somewhere. it only snows like a foot i hear in town. and i can get internet that works!!! i STILL DONT HAVE CABLE GUYS!!! IM GOING NUTS at this rate i wanna move to just have tv!!! lamo!!
a bunch of people from where i used to live are asking me to move in with them so i can moved back home but i really just wanna do this on my own. being sick took my independence away. i just want it back if that makes any sense. i know you guys get it. no one else seems to.
sorry to ramble. hugs
My arms are screaming at me so I have to be brief here. I just wanted to pop in and say hi. I read what's happening with everyone every day I just not up to typing much all the time.
Yes I have clean underwear on! Love it!
Love & Hugs,
Toni
The sun did come out for about an hour this afternoon. The air quality remains poor. They say it is a temperature inversion in the valley. Don't quite understand it so have stayed in as it is hard to breathe when outside.
Bob is in Salem tonight and my daughter is about to take off for Seattle to see her boyfriend. It bothers me for her to go so late but she is young and she is a good driver. But I guess, we as moms, have a a degres in worrying. This is fairly benign compared to some things she has done.
I need to do my evening chores so good night for now. Oh, Cherry, I stared to be the first one this morning as I was up at 3:30 but got sleepy and went back to bed, lol.
Big hugs to everyone.
