Getting ready for work. It's in the low 60's here, but humid and rainy. All in all, (the acceptance thing), I feel good.
I hope everyone has a decent day.
Hugs,
David.
Cherry I also would stop taking till you can talk to doctor as that does not sound right at all.
I am up early for some reason and will be tired later on. We finally got the Tree up last night but the stupid pre-lite tree was half not lit so my brilliant( not) idea is to take them off and put up new lights well it took three of us hours to get these lights off as they had each light clipped on individually. I will never buy a pre-lit tree again. This is the second tree that the lights go bad and I cant find what one is bad and then I have a big mess on my hands. My five year old Niece decorated the tree so everything is just her height and I am going to have to move some things up to even it out.
Hubby was mad at me as I wanted to take a shower and wash my foot and so I took off the bandages the doctor wanted to take them off on Thursday when I went in but I am just going to tell him they got wet so I had to change. It felt so good to not have those big bulk of bandages on and I could walk flat. The foot looks ok it is swollen a bit and the stitches look gross but all in all pretty good.
Hope your day goes better.
Daivd....have a good day at work
Manny....I still don't have my tree up. I bet it did feel good to take that bandage off! I would have done it too!;)
I got my dinning room decorated yesterday, there is a pic in my photos of my light...turned out nice. I'm going to do the tree today...if all goes well.
Hugs to all
I have been up since 4 am PST and have been sipping on a protein drink. I feel very good this morning. I will go back to bed as soon as hubby is up which won't be much longer as he has to load equipment into his van for a gig tonight in Salem.
I may go with him depending how I am this afternoon. My friend is taking me to an eye appt at my opthalmologist (I hope I spelled it right). I have to get my eye pressure checked. I am hoping she might not mind dropping me off at the mall by Bob's post office so that I might go with him to his gig. That way I won't worry about him driving down I-5 tonight and getting sleepy.
Last evening I did three loads of laundry, helped clean the kitchen and we had to talk to our kids. I was gone most of the afternoon with my friend running errands. Both of them called me telling me to do this, this and this because they were in a war of words. I just told them both that I can't fix anything and that they needed to work it out. I told my daughter to leave and my son to go into our bedroom and watch tv. Somehow I knew it would be like that because they both were off. We addressed the issues at hand and strongly encouraged our daughter to ask for mood stabilization drugs. I told them that I left because I was sure this would be the outcome and that it is intolerable that I have to leave my own home for peace and quiet. We both told them that this was unacceptable for two young adults.
Not that it does a lot of good for me to think this, but I just simply won't have it. Mark has a plan in place to be out within a few weeks. I do not know about my daughter or even if she is capable of living on her own. But that is a story for another day.
Manny, congrats on getting your tree up! Hope to get mine soon. We usually do the second weekend in Dec. They get so dry here. I usually take it down the week after Christmas. My kids enjoy decorating it and it usually gets rearranged several times. That doesn't bother me. Hope that you are feeling some better and that your pain is well controlled.
Cherry, so sorry that sleep didn't stop at your door and that you are in pain. How you continue to work is beyond me. I so admire your courage.
David, have a good day at work. 60 degrees, what is that? Bitter cold here 31 to be exact and fog all around.
Randy so glad you slept at least a little bit. Boy doesn't pain change our concept of what is good sleep? Hope you have a good day.
Dixie, congrats on the dining tree. I bet it is gorgeous.
All of you are still snoozing, I will catch you later in the day.. This body is headed back to dreamland.
Big hugs and much love to you all, Have a great day. Can you believe it has been seventy years since Pearl Harbor? If you come across a vet today that might have been involved, please thank them for serving our country and fighting for our freedom.
Melinda
Cherry, it is always good to "test" our medications to see if they are messing with us. I agree with Randy though....take your meds on a full stomach. Lots of times when I can't eat...I drink one of those carnation instant breakfasts in sugar free vanilla--those are my favorite. Take care my friend and, try to keep your sanity!
Dave, just keeping you in my prayers my friend. Your weather sounds pretty decent...it is cold, cold here. How is Rocco? Does he like the tree and Xmas stuff? Were you a good daddy and you bought him a christmas sweater?? HEHEHE Hugs to you my friend and, my thoughts and support.
Manny, I am so glad tht you got to take your bandage off -despite your husbands' protests. I remember getting off that big bulky wrapping myself a few times (always early of course) and, OH! It felt so Great!
I hope you are able to continue to rest and enjoy your tree! HUGS
Twetch, Glad to see you my friend and, I am so glad that you got some sleep! Is your MRSA in remission right now? How is your pain?
HUGS to you
Dixienme, putting the tree up was a huge pain in the rear, and everything else too! I hope you are able to do things with as little pain as possible.
ME>>>I have to take my son to one appointment today and, today is his 17th birthday!! I cannot believe that the ugly little 6 lb alien that I brought home from the hospital has turned into the handsome, strong, incredible young man that he is today!!
Other than that...rest, rest, rest. I am in not too good shape right now and...I wish I could stay in bed all damned day long. Anyway, I will make it through today like every other day with a smile on as well.
HUGS and love and much support to my family!
I'm late, I couldn't get on the Internet this morning, not sure what was up but it's working now.
Can't really say I feel too great but I did sleep and got everyone off in good order this morning.
I seemed to of jammed my finger over night somehow. It's my left index finger and it's the only part of my left hand I can type with so this has got a touch of suck to it.
My back doesn't feel too bad today, hopefully I can keep it that way.
Wow David, 60s, I'd take some of that. We haven't been out of the 30s and 40s for days now.
I still haven't put up the tree yet either. Maybe if I can stir up some spunk I'll get it out in a while. I really don't have anything else to do today.
My pain seems to have leveled off for the time being, just can't seem to level off my mood. I've been pretty irratable lately but so far I've kept it in and not bit anyones head off.
I hope you all have a good day today, tell your son happy birthday for me Brandi,
Mike
Typing is hurting so enough of that....maybe one day I can catch up with you....
but I do love you all... hugs.
Hugs to all. xx
I decided to skip the new puke vitamin, today. Who knew a B-complex, even taken with food, could cause such a reaction?
It's 8:15 and my meds have just started to hit...my face might land on the keyboard, any minute.
Sweet dreams.....zzzzzz
