I'm getting excited for Christmas. Our choir is doing the Christmas music next Sunday........always uplifting. The children did theirs last night.
I hope everyone has a manageable day.
Big Hugs,
David.
The start of another week before we know it it will be the new year. Today is the first day since my surgery I will be walking Mariah up to school and I think it will be ok as I am managing better at home and even got a chance to clean up yesterday and wrap some presents and do some shopping and yes I always over do things when I get the chance that is why I go one step forward and three backwards most of my life.
The milking it is past and things are back to normal and me doing everything, I go to the doctors tomorrow for a check up and I hope he takes off this big wrap and stuff as it is getting on my nerves.
Hope everyone is doing good
Cherry, I love how you allow the computer chair swiveling to be the highlight of your day! HEHE, I have two little boys as well and, they have not turned the tree into their personal lavatory. However, they are rather pissed off that they cannot reach the candy canes on the tree-even if they stand on the coffee table and reach! I hope you are able to rest today before you start tomorrow. HUGS to you
David, I would love for you to post a video of your choir singing! That would be awesome. I hope you are doing ok my friend. I was thinking from your post the other day...you and your wife should buy Rocco "bed stairs" so he does not have to rely on your wife to pick him up and put him there for you. He could see daddy any time he wanted! HUGS to you
Manny, I am so glad that you are doing better my friend. I always thought ist was a good sign when I got frustrated with wrappings and waiting for the end of whatever time period the doc had set forth. I bet it was lovely to do some shoppping and other fun things. How is your foot? Do you think the surgery was sucessful for you? I hope so.
HUGS
ME>>>>>I hate to say it...but, I hurt so frickin bad today. Really bad. I hope today is an easy day for me and, I plan on spending it medicated and in bed. Just like a car accident...the worst of it comes a few days later I guess.
HUGS to you my friends!
I'll give you a juicy tidbit because I can't keep it to myself - I reconnected with a former boyfriend during my trip to FL. He's from New England, like me, and he happens to be visiting his mom too. We had the nicest time together. My heart is going pitter patter and I haven't felt this way in a very long time.
My visit with my mom and sister is going nicely. The warm weather has eased my pain, in general. All is well - isn't that a surprising statement coming from me?
I wish you all joy and reduced pain during the holiday season.
it's not as cold today so that's a plus. Mom and Dad are leaving to meet my brother and his wife for lunch but I haven't decided if I'm going or not. We have a winter program at the school tonite and I'm thinking it's going to take most of my spoons for the day. They'll be disapointed if I don't go so maybe I'll just grin and bear it.
I've been sleeping more lately, well, sometimes anyway. I had a long nap yesterday and slept all night last night but it just seems to vary.
I feel like there's more going on today than I can posibly get done so I'm just putting myself in a do what you can do set of mind. I haven't even started wrapping presents yet, but I still have time to put that off.
December is just way to busy for my taste.
I hope everyone is doing well today,
Mike
I don't like being so sleepy and not being able to go back to sleep because of pain. This morning still hurting but I am using moist heat.
I missed my birthday trip to Branson and Silver Dollar City. Sent them without me. This morning my husband called and said he had a dream that the birthday fairy had left a card for me under his pillow. They are on their way home today. My card was for 16th birthday. I can't tell you how nice it feels to read a card like that when you are 61. Maybe it is a girl thing. Anyway also some scratch tickets and I had fun with those. Came out with 18 dollars.
At sixty one my highlight the day before my birthday was both my sons, one friend of my oldest who is like a daughter to me, my oldest's fiance and my two granddaughters. I have enjoyed my alone time and am ready for my husband to return. I am also ready for this pain to let up.
Wishing you all less pain and more joy.
hippy

I found out that if i call the DOT down here and make an appointment and show them the area where i'm looking for placed they will show me all the bus routs and show my gimp butt how to get around lol thats kinda cool. so i'm doing that today. calling for my doc records today. just alot of crap that i dont wanna do but need to get done.
