Cherry, It is good to see you this morning! There are some things I really need to try to do today if possible but I have a feeling that my mom want to go to JC Penney to see if they have this ruffly sweater she saw on my niece last night.

Today, I am spending my day in bed. I may not even take a shower! My left ear is badly infected again and, it is pretty uncomfortable. I have to go get my antibiotics for it today though--4th round in 2 months! They want me to go to an ENT because it won't heal and, apparently there is some growth in there?? I don't know.

I refuse to do that crazy black friday crap...I never have done it. I hate to say that I am curious about it though but, not curious enough!

I am sure many of you are suffering more today than you would like (I know I am !) I just offer you soft hugs, supportive friendship and a nice comfy duck down pillow! HUGS to you my friends, I will check in later when more have checked in too.

Would you be willing to just call your doc and see if he would call in a prescription for some med to take or put in your ear?
Mine has done that before.

Morning all,

Just saying hi to everybody. I just started the low fat, high protein shake diet for the week before surgery. First chocolate shake was not bad. We got them at Costco the other night.

I have laundry up to my ears. I guess I am going to get out and brave the mall for a couple of hours today. You won't be able to get out tomorrow due to football traffic so it is do or die today. I have stuff to take back and stuff that my husband needs. Everything including dockers should be on sale. I have some coupons that hopefully will help me. He goes thru his work dockers fairly quickly. But he told me to only get two pair as only God knows how much longer he will be working.

And I have to get gas, etc....My girlfriend is back from AZ and I expect her to call today or tomorrow. Maybe will go out to her home on Friday.

Horrible rage from my daughter last night. She and her boyfriend were fighting on the phone but then she took it out on us. Cursing like a sailor. She was fighting with Dan on the phone out here in the living room and I told her to go to her room. I didn't and do not want to hear it. Bob had to go to work for an hour and a half last night and when he came home she went off on both of us. We told her to leave when she went off on her brother. Have no idea when she came home. More than I can handle. She needs mood stabilizers so badly. One of my issues is that is has come to either you will take mood stablizers or you can not live here. Wish DH would fully support me on this one.

SD, when you feel better, how do you handle situations with your little duck? Do you think BP is exacerbated by hormones? Hope you feel better soon and that the pharmacy is close by. Go see an ENT. You don't want to lose any part of your hearing. Big gentle hugs to you my friend. Thank you for being our fearless leader. AND don't forget to wear your green and yellow tomorrow.

We have gotten in bad late every night this week. I am just going to go to bed without him much earlier.

Good morning, I'm late.
I woke up in the middle of the night but was able to sleep the morning away.
I'm sore this morning and have nothing planned, not getting anywhere near town for sure. I don't want anything to do with black Friday.
It's 10:30 and I'm just getting to my coffee.
I'm still savoring what a nice day I had yesterday.
Everyone is off today but they're all doing thier own things and it's peaceful and pleasent. It's cold and windy, good day to be inside.
I'll try to check back later when my head wakes up.

Dinner yesterday was wonderful - turkey stuffed with pears and wrapped in bacon. Yummy and of course all the usual fixings. No one could move after dinner so dessert was pushed back around 3 hours. I think leftovers from Thanksgiving are my favorite, a full meal again and in minutes from the micro. I hope all went home with leftovers if you weren't the ones cooking.

Last night ended with putting up the first xmas tree, named the Silver Fox. It was my SIL's grandparent's tree from the 60's and has been resurrected in tradition for the fun of it. This year my grandson understood the thrill of shiny things and helped put it together and place the first silver balls before bedtime came.

My 3rd daughter and her husband finally walked through the doors of their new home with their own keys. They are a very short distance from daughter #2 and her husband and right now they are all at the new house getting ready to prime the walls for a complete paint makeover. Ryan and I re hanging out with all the dogs. I got my call from daughter #1 and my son who are living in NOLA. They shared their feast so no one was alone.

Pain - not good, I am missing my couch, that may be enough said. No Black Friday shopping for me. I actually can't wait for this madness to be over so I can take Xophie Tucker to get her nails trimmed.

David, it seems you and Hathani are both still having troubles with DS. Wonder of you have a common issue?

I hope everyone is enjoying their full bellies today and leftovers. Hopefully you're all not too beat up from comings and goings.

I had company today. My niece and my 11 week old grand nephew came to see me from Tn. This was the first time I've gotten to see Mr. Aiden and he's as cute and adorable as his pictures (probably more). My niece is always fun to see, she has a great sense of humor and is a sweetheart.

I never do the Black Friday thing. I did this a few times many yrs ago and never found it worth the hostility that comes with the price savings. Now I'd end up on the floor trampled on! My niece heard this morning of a woman using pepper spray on several people including a child just to get what she wanted. Nothing is worth that much to me. Those that chose to do this, I hope you didn't get hurt and just had some fun and great deals.
