Ok folks, lets get started in here and get this group back up and running like it used to. I know many have been busy over the holidays and dealing with their own pain and stress. Sometimes that makes it hard to come here but that is when we should come in and say hi, ask for support, prayers, hugs or whatever you need. I know I'm not that good at it myself (*head down) but I'm trying to do better.

The last few days I've been getting angry again... angry at the pain stopping me from doing what I want. When I can't sit up long enough to drink a cup of coffee or eat dinner without stopping to lay down I get really PO'ed. I don't have to lie down long, maybe 10-15 minutes and I can get up and do stuff again for 15-20 minutes depending what it is.

Last evening we were out and got home late for supper so I thought I'd stop and get 'you-bake' pizza instead of cooking. I thought it would be easier but just bending over to put one pizza and one garlic fingers in the oven and take it out laid me on my back in bed until it cooled off... how bad is that!? This is what I mean... I just want to do little things, nothing major... sweep more than one room at a time, clean my own bathroom, mop the floor (just my itty bitty kitchen) or sit and sew for more than 15 minutes at time. I was doing okay for a long time but now its starting to get to me again.

Anyway, enough of my whining. I'm not in a major flare or in more pain than usual so I should be happy about that. The flare that started in September seems to have let up finally. I'll try to make the best of it until the next one hits. I have an appointment to see my new family doctor (4th in 2 years) on Tuesday. I hear she is great so I'll let you all know.
