My doctor is changing me from the cimzia that I started over a month ago to a possible iv infusion called acterma. I swear finding the right med is harder then dating and fighting the right one there hehe. Its an iv infusion that is once a month which means 4 hour round trip appointment once a month. The infusion takes about an hour I have some more research to do on it but one of the risks is that it raises cholorestal (can't spell sorry). I hate med changes I always get nervous starting a new med.

I don't know these meds but I know about changing meds and hoping this is the right combo. I hope this new one brings you relief. Hugs, Barbara

Me too, I hate waiting to see what kind of side effects it will cause and wondering if it will work. I hope it goes well and improves things for you.

i hope this works for you, you have been thru so many meds with not avail. My rhummy is starting me on remicade infusons here soon. let me know how it works for you i don't know much about these infusions.
my rhummy told me each infustion takes between 2 and 4 hrs. yikes!

I hope that this new medication will work for you, I heard about that medication the other night when I was watching my novelas. Is a new RA medication; for I understood. I hope it works!!!

Have they given you an explanation as to why the change. It may be more profitable for the doctor and not of benefit to you. Please do your due diligence and research this carefully.

Hopefully this helps you feel much much better! Why else would your doc be changing your meds? He must want you to feel good! I know it can be nerve wrecking, but try to look at the positive side of it. Maybe just maybe it is going to make you feel great!

Yes that is frustrating. I agree with Rocky'sOwner... do your due diligence. I hope you find what is right for you soon.
