Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is any sudden and unexplained death of an apparently healthy infant aged one month to one year. SIDS is responsible for roughly 50 deaths per 100,000 births in the US.

Austin...Happy First angel day. Send your family some of those angel hugs, kisses and some hummingbirds. They miss you and love you so much. I'll be lighting a candle for you and blowing you some bubbles.

Oh sweet Austin, I can't believe it's been a year! I'm thinking of you sweet boy. Brandy and Nick, I'll will be thinking of you on Wednesday. I will light a candle for your little man. Sending you guys lots of HUGS! I hope you are able to have a peaceful day on Wednesday.

Oh I can't believe its time for this already. Time is such a funny thing... sometimes it seems like just yesterday that he was here smiling and cooing and me, and then other times its seems as though it has been an eternity since I saw his face. I think I have been more depressed in the past couple of weeks than I've been any other time since he died.

Thank God for this site! Don't know where I would be today without you all.

oh, little Austin... I wish you never had this day. I'll be thinking of you and your mommy sooo much tomorrow. I know that all our angels will surround you and help you while you're missing your mommy too. Just know we have her in our arms and someday she will be with you again...

I think for me so far the 1st Angel day was the hardest. I will be keeping you and your family in my thoughts and prayers tomorrow.

Austin - Make sure you send your mommy and daddy extra angel kisses tomorrow - they are going to need them.
