Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is any sudden and unexplained death of an apparently healthy infant aged one month to one year. SIDS is responsible for roughly 50 deaths per 100,000 births in the US.

We did several things last night and today to celebrate Kaitlyn's 1st Birthday - Zach & Steph baked cupcakes last night, we decorated them this morning, we released balloons this afternoon, and sang Happy Birthday tonight. Happy Birthday Kaitlyn! We know you were with us today in spirit, but we wish you could've been here in person though. We love you!!
