Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is any sudden and unexplained death of an apparently healthy infant aged one month to one year. SIDS is responsible for roughly 50 deaths per 100,000 births in the US.

Thanks for sharing with us. The poor lady means well she just doesn't know that it happens on backs too. I hope she raises lots of money to help her organization - anything that can save lives is awesome.

OK... this is stupid.
I will ask the same question as i ask everyone else who claims to be a SIDS guru and think they know what will fix it..
IF THEY DON"T KNOW WHAT CAUSES IS HOW CAN THEY PREVENT IT???

Another thing.. how can they call it SIDS right away?? They didn't check for child abuse int he 25 mins because they were performing CPR.. how dumb. The whole thing has my undies in a bunch.. and I have big undies!!!

Ginger, I thought the same thing when I read the article. How could they say SIDS right away? It took us over 7 weeks to hear that it was SIDS.
