As my favorite time of yr rolled around without my youngest. I was scared of how I would react to Christmas this yr. I handled it suprising well. Looking forward to the new yr to put away this emotional yr, hoping I will be able to breath thru what would have been his first birthday and angel day. My husband and I took each other hand in hand, turned the lights off only leaving the glow of christmas lights and candles. One we lit together Wyatts Candle until we went to bed. As I have made amends with what my mother had done. She brought the final presents for my oldest. It did bring some relief to see my toddlers' eyes aglow as we awaited his waking on christmas day. While waiting, although bittersweet a moment, as for the first time since my youngest death. I pictured my self waking my little wyatt up at the age he would have been now sitting him next to his big brother to open presents. I know his big brother would have helped him. My husband caught a few tears in my eyes aftered I pictured that moment that never will happen. He told me we should try to not be sad that Wyatt is happy where he is and he wouldnt want us upset and ruin christmas for our almost three yr old. We must cheer up. And so we woke our little one up and he began to open his presents in which I taped and celebrated every waking moment knowing that had we not lost our little one we would have never fully appreciated the moment as much as we did.
