Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is any sudden and unexplained death of an apparently healthy infant aged one month to one year. SIDS is responsible for roughly 50 deaths per 100,000 births in the US.

well its been a year since my Leila left me, and it still hurts like hell..a few months ago me and Leilas dad called it quitz,..we were just having so much problems since Leila past..All of it had to do with me not being able to let Leila go, and move on..i took out everything on him, an he was doing his best to avoid me talking about Leila...I feel like i went thru MY pain alone, while i was still with him..I miz him alot, and having him there kinda gave me peace because we shared something so unbarerable..
We talk a couple nites ago and he vented about the things i put him thru nd how he is nt able to deal with it, and i thot, wat about the way i feel,:(..
I lost my baby, he left to wrk everyday and who was with her? 24-7..me, day nd nite, it was me nd Leila..my hearte aches so much, i just dnt understand..I know my part , my mistakes,but the pain i was going thru, i was alone..I couldnt handle his cold hearted, ways..He never acknowledged my pain with Leila,or even asked how i was feeling..it was all about him and his children, either i was in or out..so i had to let him go..
I try to put my trust in God, and i pray god well give me peace, bt its nt wrkin..I wrk 14 hours a day, or im at Leilas cemetary just hanging around with a bottle of something hard...
Issues with my family cause they think i should let Leila go and move on,,,easy for them to say that to me, wen i have to live with it for the rest of my life...Im so lost..its been a year and im still lost...
is that normal?:(:(:(:(:(:(

Honey. I remember you from a year ago the same time we freshly dealing with loss of our children. Its been a year now and the grief still can seem overbearing. It was really hard for me and still there are times I feel as though I am the only one who remembers my son. I cant not relate to the break up of my significant other. Altho sometimes he is hard to deal with when it comes to dealing with grief of losing our son. Its hard but try to think about what your daughter would want for you? You don't have to let go, celebrate the time you had with her. Live for the life you wanted her to have. You wasn't able to die for her, so let her live through you. Do the things you wanted for her or in memory of her. Take a college course, volunteer in a local animal shelter, or hospital, start a charity in her name, a marathon--race for the cure, donate to first candle or run a fundraiser for march of dimes. Spread awareness. I know you miss her and would give anything to hold her again and just for her to be here in body, believe me, I feel the same way about my son. Let the world never forget the mark she made. Reach out and touch a life as you and your daughters story have touched mine and I am sure there are many others. Find someone close and talk to them about how your feeling, It might not fix everything but it could help to get things off your chest. If you don't have anyone, I am offering to be an ear. Send me a message. Please do this for you and your baby girl. You have so much on your plate and I am terribly sorry for the pain we have been thru. I wish we never had to know the pain of losing our children. I hope your situation begins to look up for you. I'll keep check on your progress. You are in my thoughts and prayers

Totally normal. It has been four years for me and I still miss and cry about my Lily all of the time. It sucks and life is forever changed. I can promise you that life starts to feel a little normal again, but honestly the whole in your heart will never close. You wouldn't want it to all the way. I am here if you need to talk.

It has been three years since journee went home and I still feel lost.. I keep thinking of things to get into to stay occupied but its still hard.. It is completely normal and I wish I can say time heals but time is of the essence. xoxo

thankz yu guyz so much,,,itz hard, i got so much on my plate, sometymes i wana end it bt i cant if i do i wnt see her again... yesterday i went to her cemetary and drank and stayed with her for hours....after wrk..my family never seems to understand me...
wat else can i do...sometymes im crying and askin her, LEILA WHY DIDNT YU WAKE UP? ND I BLAME HER FOR BEING LAZY ND NT WAKIN UP DAT MORNIN, SHE PASSED. BUT NO MATTER HOW MUCH I CRY ND SCREAM, LEILA LEFT ME...WHY???
