Brandy,
As far as getting a report in your case. You may want to.
Generally police reports are rather coldly written meaning they are just the facts. But you may not want to read it until you are in the right frame of mind. There could still be things in there that you may not know, did not remember or are disturbing.
Keep in mind, (as a day care provider myself)
that many day cares have a loose daily schedule. Like play time may be scheduled from 9-9:30 on paper but there is some flexibility on times because of childrens' routines etc.
I have done child care for over 15 years. I knew my daily routines, but did not look at the clock until the last hour or so of my shift...LOL because at that point my day is winding down to go home. Many day care providers do fall into the "daily routine" and don't really have to use a clock to say, it's outside time, story time, lunch, nap (for the older kids) etc... so that too could be reasons for time discrepancies too. Good luck with whatever you decide. (HUGS)
It's going on 2 years here and really I still have more questions then answers. I totally understand how haunting that is. ((HUGS))
Thanks again!
