Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS) Support Group
Sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS) is any sudden and unexplained death of an apparently healthy infant aged one month to one year. SIDS is responsible for roughly 50 deaths per 100,000 births in the US.
I lost my firstborn to SIDS in 2007, 5 weeks after his birth.it was traumatic and I felt utterly cheated and heartbroken.I got pregnant as soon as I was able after his passing and had my son 2 days before my angels first anniversary.So I have 2 wonderful sons and 1 daughter.my living son has Autism and so every day is a bit varied,it's a challenge but I don't love him any less and my daughter has had feeding issues and development issues too so ive been through the ringer.I will tell my SIDS story in full at some stage when my children let me.
