Brandy I am totally with you! If I could have another one I would have started trying already. I miss being a mom to a newborn...yes, I have other kids, but he was my baby. Now I'm just empty. I hope you guys do try again soon. I think you're a terrific mom and Austin will help watch over that baby like crazy!

You know how I feel.. I want something to look forward to again and I know a baby will bring that light back into our lives. Like you said we are never going to be fixed, just going to figure out how to live again and I would love to figure that out with a baby in my arms

Hey hun, if you are ready for another baby, go for it! There is no right or wrong answer to this, it's such a personal decision. We knew right away we wanted to try again especially since Mason was our first. The fears are going to be there no matter if you wait 5 weeks or 5 years! Brandy, I have to tell you we've been feeling the same way. I'm not sure there ever is a perfect time to have a baby...especially for all of us here. I'm absoulutely terrified. I told the hubby we could give it a try this month and if it didn't happen right now, then I'd like to wait until next year sometime to get us through Lindsey's first birthday and first angel day. So, I guess I'm with you. I think you guys should go for it if that's what your heart is telling you. Austin will be a great big angel brother!!! :)

Go with your gut girl. I have been having the strongest urges ever yet. My hubby and I are going to schedule our genetic testing after our home closes sometimes. He actually brought the testing up to me and I was so glad to hear him say it. I think that we both want to wait and see. We both still flip flop...some days it is all I think about and he says the same and some days I am still no way. I am hoping that after all of our testing and such we'll be able to think clearly. You stated it right though...you will never be over this so why wait?

I feel the same way. After something like this I can't see how anyone would be hesitant. We have talked about it and some days I'm all for it and other days it scares me to death. I say go for it and have fun trying.

If you are able to have another an dyou are really sure you are ready then I say do it. For reason s out of my control I didn't concieve Ever until after Daegan's first angelversary and all those fears were still there. Theres no time limit on that. It was a very emotional pregnancy and it was hard. Now she's here and everyday gets a little easier. But I would never change our decision she is awesome and she does bring joy to my life everyday.

My husband and I became pregnant the month after Colton passed away. I love feeling life when I am sad. I am also thankful that Christmas will be a happy time for us with a baby again. I hate thinking about taking out his Christmas ornaments. We are also going to have our new baby boy baptised on Colton's angel date. You will know when the time is right -

My friends and family would always tell me I had to wait for 1 year to make any big decisions so we did . Atleast we tried then unexpectedly we got pregnant around the 1st anniversary of Sammy's passing and strangest part was the due date was on his b-day ! It was hard to deal with cuz it was scary. But it was totally worth it I love Christa K.T. more than words could ever explain . Pray !!! God answers prayers if your truly ready he'll let you know.

I have heard that - that its best to wait a year to make any big decisions and I know having another baby is a BIG decision... I just don't know if I can wait that long :(

Brandy if I were you I would go for it- it can't hurt to try. I want to be pregnant right now too, but my husband seems to think we need to wait. I don't understand what exactly we are waiting for, it's never going to be easy! My opinion is if it's not meant to be then it won't happen.

I knew I could not wait a year, waiting 9 months for the baby to come was hard enough....waiting a year and then the 9 months would have killed me. My daughter was born 5 days after Nick's 1st Angel day. For us, the timing was good. We were at the end of the year of the firsts without Nick.....the fear will be there no matter when you go for it...the only thing to fear is fear itself...
i still miss my sweet Nick every day, but Marissa has brought the light back into our world. She's amazing and in so many ways she saved me. I knew I had to have my head on straight to be fair to her....I thought I was pretty okay, then she entered this world...lol it was a crash course in getting my head together and it is worth it!!!! I was so afraid. Afraid I would not be able to attach(actually it was total love at first sight!!!), afraid I would lose her too(this is where it becomes about having faith), afraid I would have to live this hell x2 (this is where you have to tell your head to stfu LOL)....many of those fears are still there but have dulled. Now I think about how I would be if it wasn't for that little girl entering my life....Nick will never be forgotten. Marissa has made it okay to feel happy again...

We waited a year. But if it were up to me i would've started right away. I waited for Brandon, my husband, to be ready too. But I'm trying!! Boy am i trying

ya know I really did not know how to feel at first. I wanted one so bad right away and then shortly after I would say whoah what are you thinking you can not handle that kind of stress and worry right now. I had to make sure I was not trying to replace Mason, and I had to reasure myself that when I could see this next one as a totally different child and not a replacement then I was ready. SO dont rush youself you will know when you are ready and now that I am pregnant you will still have your doubts and thoughts but the smoke will clear.
