I am looking into having to go back to work after the first of the year. Back when I did all that I was alot younger!! Wonder how it will all work this time around. Like I am so sure my husband, son and daughter will just step right up to the plate and help - yea right.
I use my washing machine for a laundry basket (since I wash more towels than anything) its used to collect towels, which usually take up the most room in the laundry baasket anyway....then when it is full I thow in soap and wash. For people who work, learn how to use the timer on your oven. You can put something frozen in there and set the timer to cook it at a certain time. Crockpost are the best. Kids must have chores to learn responsiblity and be a part of the house. All ages, even 3& 4 yr, olds can take garbage out , fold towels etc. they need to be a part of a working house hold or they will grow up like most of our husband thinking they don't have to do anything.
A wall calander is essential, those erasable kind, to plan our appt.s and on Sundays, i plan my grocery list and go only once to the store. If you can enforce shoes off at the door thats a big time saver on vacumming....which by the way....even husbands can learn to do.
Those clorox wipes are wonderful for the bathroom toilet and sink , counter ect.!!! I couldn't live without those!
That's all the tips i can think of right now.
Do you guys have any tips?
I try to give away, throw away or sell anything I haven't used or worn for a year to keep from being cluttered. I try to keep what I use in the same spot so I'm not driving myself nuts for looking for something. I am not saying to do it perfect but a little organization goes a long ways.
Yes organizing does reap some benefits.
