Go for walks together or bike rides, have a bath together! Just stroke each others hair or simply hold each others hand when out and about.
Think of yourself as driving along in your car and you hit a patch of ice, if you accelerate you will make matters worse, if you brake you will crash. You have to lift your foot off the brakes and accelerator knowing that eventually you will leave the ice and be in control again. Life is the same, and if you take a deep breath in through your nose hold it for 5 seconds then release it through your mouth whilst holding on to that thought it will help.
The more you see this as a problem the greater the problem will become, you must therefore consider that there are far worse situations you can be in and list your blessings and concentrate on them, you have a loving husband to share the ups and downs of life with; wonderful kids; friends, family and a nice home.
A simple thing you can do is count from 1 to 5 before you make any reaction, tense your muscles in your hands and arms and hands intensely for 5 seconds then release, you will find the release of muscle tension also acts as a mind and body release of tension.
Finally, if all else fails and you find yourself at your lowest... simply start praising God and singing his glory in your mind thinking on Him and praising Him will lift your spirits regardless of your faith or lack of it.. You get back what you give out - Karma - be kind, praise others be polite and helpful slow to judge others. Don't put down or think negative, the glass is half full not half empty. don't look for faults in others dwell on their good points. Seek to build up rather than tear down for it is always the hardest path to travel that will give the greatest reward like the song says :Things can only get better:.
